He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruby Hicks; and children, David and Betty Hicks, Carl Hicks and Connie Huffman, Richard and Pam Hicks, Roger and Polly Hicks, William and Elaine Hicks, Wilford Lee Hicks Jr., Helen and Wayne Angell, Harold and Katherine Hicks, Shirley Hicks and Billy Powell, and Ronnie and Linda Hicks. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and step grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; five stepgreatgrandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Junior Jordan, Gracie and James Wright, Barbara and Doug Campbell, Joyce Yopp, Nina Hicks and Don Gordon, and Essey and Ray Morris; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Hicks, Robert and Ethel Hicks, and Rufus and Frances Hicks; and his beagles, Buck, Roxy, and Trixy.
