     Her married name was Pritchard.² Rosa Elizabeth "Betty" Cole married John Marvin Pritchard.^2,3 Rosa Elizabeth "Betty" Cole and John Marvin Pritchard were divorced.⁶ Rosa Elizabeth "Betty" Cole was born on June 23, 1939 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,7 She died on March 3, 2007 at Virginia at age 67.^7,4 She Rosa (Betty) Pritchard, 67, of Vinton, peacefully went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Gladys Cole and, brother Thomas Donald Cole. Those left to cherish her loving memory are sons, Marty Pritchard and Sherry Wray of Bedford County, and Kevin Pritchard and Vicki of Vinton; grandchildren, Josh, Brianna and Gage, all of Vinton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob Cole and wife, Betty, of Morristown, Tenn., Louis Cole and wife, Joyce, of Botetourt, Merriman (Twiddles) Cole and wife, Kathy, of San Bruno, Calif; sister and brother-in-law, Minnie Chewning and husband, Bobby, of Roanoke County; aunt, Mrs. Laura Kesler, Salem; uncle, Mr. Ammon Sears, Stuart Va; special niece and husband Vicky and Kenny Grapel; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Oakeys Vinton Chapel on March 9, 2007 at 6 p.m. Arrangements by Oakeys Vinton Chapel, 982-2221. on March 8, 2007.⁴

     Helene Bouck was born in 1939.¹ As of 1980,her married name was Cole.¹ She married Thomas Donald "Don" Cole, son of Thomas Marvin Cole and Gladys Nellie Sears, in 1980.^1,2 Helene Bouck died on January 13, 2007 at New York.^1,2 She Helene Cole, 67, of Utica, N.Y. and formerly of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord January 13, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Helene Bouck; and her husband, Thomas Cole. Those left to mourn her are her daughter and son-in-law, Donald and Sandra Dooley, of Roanoke; her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Mary Nevins, of Hampton, Va; her grandson, Harland Nevins; her brothers and sisters, David Bouck, of Idaho, Bernard Bouck, of North Dakota, Ellen Jones, of West Winfield, N.Y., and Mary Crumb, of West Winfield, N.Y; and a host of nieces and nephews. on January 17, 2007.²

     John Marvin Pritchard and Rosa Elizabeth "Betty" Cole were divorced.¹ John Marvin Pritchard married Rosa Elizabeth "Betty" Cole, daughter of Thomas Marvin Cole and Gladys Nellie Sears.^3,4 John Marvin Pritchard was born on April 29, 1931.¹ He died on October 17, 2010 at Virginia at age 79.¹ He John Pritchard of Roanoke, Va., and formerly of Sumter, S.C., died on Sunday, October 17, 2010. He was 79. Born on April 29, 1931, he was a 22 year veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He served from 1947 until 1969, including deployment during the Korean War. John often referred to the men with whom he served as his brothers. John loved travel, both serving others as a bus driver and cruising with Barbara. He is survived by his beloved companion, Barbara; and grandson, Shawn; children, Lorrie and Donnie Danielson, Beth Pritchard, Carrie and Steve Woodruff, John Pritchard Jr., Debbie and Randy Van Dyke, Leo Pritchard, John Marvin Pritchard, Kevin and Vicky Pritchard, and Yvonne Hunter; a sister, Carolyn Ward; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his great caregivers, John and Sue McGuire, Joy Newton, Gary and Opel Bowden, and Jerry and Sue Newton. He will be sadly missed by Missy and Bingo. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010, followed by a funeral service beginning 2 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Ave. The Rev. David Saville and the Rev. William Rogers will officiate. Full Military Honors will follow. The family would like to express its special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice.
