He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and loved spending time in the out doors; gardening, fishing and hiking. A memorial fund has been established in Leonard’s name. on December 23, 2003.5

Olmstead of Port Clinton, Ohio; Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Carrington of Galion, Ohio; Mrs. Robert (Kaye) Kissling of Bucyrus and David C. Olmstead of Bucyrus. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren and three brothers, Leonard Olmstead of Shell Rock, Elton Olmstead of Waterloo and Wilford "Willie" Olmstead of Shell Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents and one half-sister. on June 28, 1994.3

Preceded in death by: a granddaughter. Services: noon Friday at Linden United Methodist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. on March 13, 2008.1
