     Jacob McGehee was born in 1707 at Virginia.¹ He married Eleanor DeJarnette, daughter of Jean "John" DeJarnette and Mary Mumford, on October 30, 1737 at Virginia.¹ Jacob McGehee died on December 6, 1783 at Prince William Co., Virginia.¹

     Her married name was DeJarnette.¹ Martha Ford married Daniel DeJarnette, son of Jean "John" DeJarnette and Mary Mumford, at Virginia.¹ Martha Ford left a will on January 3, 1770; WILL OF MARTHA Dejarnatt, dated Jan. 3rd, 1780, Prince Edward Co. , Va. , probated March 16th, 1782.
