Prior to her work at Elizabeth Arden, Brenda worked at the Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church Preschool. Surviving are her daughters, Terri P. (Dave) Thomas, Tania P. (Tim) Fretwell; grandchildren, Emily Thomas, Joshua Fretwell and Brooke Fretwell; sister, Phyllis Stanley and several nieces and nephews.
