She was born January 31, 1920, in Finleyville, Ohio, the daughter of William I. and Eva I. (Baxter) Smail. She married Floyd Clyde Hulings June 4, 1935, and he preceded her in death July 8, 1957. Tillie worked for the Knox Glass Company in Marienville, was a cook for one year at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pa. and worked for Blair Corporation for 10 years, retiring from there in 1982. Survivors include three sons, Floyd Hulings of Warren, Lloyd Hulings of Miola, Pa., and Virgil Hulings of Warren; two daughters, Michael Ann Lutz and husband Raymond of Lucinda, Pa; and Phyllis Taylor of Binghamton, New York. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren, and one sister, Priscilla Nicklas, of Florida. She was preceded in death by a 3-month-old daughter, Hazel Jane Hulings, and the following brothers and sisters: Ulysses, Horace and Frank Smail; Ruth Spencer, Sarah Portizanna, Fannie Moore, Mary Masters, Wilda Crise and Grace Bizzle. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the Ronald McDonald Funeral Home in Marienville, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Wanda Hilyer, chaplain, presiding. Interment will be in Redclyffe Cemetery. on June 16, 2009.¹

"Tooker” Hulings, 71, of Rays Lane, Lucinda, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the Clarion Hospital. Born February 21, 1940, in Marienville; he was the son of Floyd C. and Julia A. Smail Hulings. Mr. Hulings worked as a meat cutter in the Clarion area. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Hulings is survived by a son, Grant Hulings and his wife, Mary Anne, of Erie; and a daughter, Chandra Felmlee and her husband, Shawn, of Cranberry; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Floyd Hulings and Virgil Hulings, both of Warren; and two sisters, Michal Lutz of Lucinda; and Phyllis Taylor of Binghamton, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents. The arrangements are under the direction of the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be private for the family. Interment will be held in the Redcliff Cemetery.² He was born on February 21, 1940 at Marienville, Forest Co., Pennsylvania.^5,2 He died on December 13, 2011 at Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania, at age 71.^5,2
