Born Feb. 2, 1938, at Ingleside, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Helen Thomas Skeens. Having been educated in Mercer County, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was of the Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia May Shrewsbury and a grandson, Eric Stupalsky. Survivors include: Her devoted husband of 53 years, Willard Daniel Poole; five beautiful daughters, Beautina Star Martin and husband Gene of Fairmont, Teresa Gail Collins and husband Steve of Oakvale, Sarena Gay Mitchem and husband Clifford, Robin Markata Pruett all of Princeton, Vivian Lee Poole of the home; four grandsons, Danny Lee Blankenship, Tyler Uriah Pruett, Trevor Daniel Pruett all of Princeton, Eric Wayne Hill of Hickory, N.C; three granddaughters, Ashley Marie Hill, Felcia Nicole Collins, Danielle Yvonne Collins all of Princeton; one sister, Linda McKinney and husband Denver of Matoaka. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Hardy. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Blankenship, Eric Hill, Clifford Mitchem, Steve Collins, Gene Martin and Marty White. on February 13, 2007.⁴ She died on February 13, 2007 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 69.^6,2,4
