Small of Lafayette; a daughter, Emily Myers of Russiaville R.R. 2; two sisters, Pauline Harrell and Marjorie A. Lawhead, both of Kokomo, and two grandchildren. A son and a sister preceded her in death. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Joan of Arc with the Rev. Kenneth Bohlinger as celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kokomo. on July 27, 1980.2

He was a 1945 graduate of Stephens County (Ga.) High School. He attended Piedmont College, Indiana University and Purdue University. He served in the Navy in World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge and United Auto Workers Loca 1685. He was a captain in the Civil Air Patrol Auxiliary of the Air Force. Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Rebecca Howard of Kokomo; a daughter and son-in-law, Georgia E. and Bruce Kistler of Kokomo; three grandchildren, Christopher B. Howard, Stacy E. Howard, and Steven J. Kistler. Preceding him in death were a son, Henry Howard; and a daughter, Elizabeth Irene Howard. Services will be at l p.m. Saturday in Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. The Rev. John Oark will officiate. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. on December 1, 1994.5
