Survivors include six sons and their wives: Earl and Kim Graf, Kokomo, Loren "Bud" Graf and friend May, Kokomo, Joseph and Pat Graf, Avon Park, Fla., Darrell and Shirley Howell, Greentown, Verlin and Donna Howell, Pasco, Wash., Ronald and Judy Howell, Kokomo; four daughters and their spouses, Ellanore and Dudley Rich, Celina, Tenn., Joanna and Angel Colon, Kokomo, Roberta Richardson, Collinsville, Ala., and Sarah Steiner, Kettle Falls, Wash; 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons David Graf and Kenneth Howell, two sisters and two grandsons. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hasler-Pickett Funeral Home in Greentown with the Rev. Dave Brandon officiating. Calling will be Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Converse Cemetery. on February 19, 1995.⁴

A member of Roann Christian Church, and the Laurel Chapter of Eastern Star, he was a past master of Roann Masonic Lodge. He was retired from Ford Meter Box Co. in Wabash after 27 years of service. Also surviving are three daughters, Sara Van Buskirk of Wabash R.R. 1, Judy Cole of Denver R.R. 1, and Nancy Treadway of Tipton R.R. 3; three sisters, Betty Fowler and Carolyn Kratzer, both of Kokomo, and Mary Thompson of Long Beach, Calif; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Grandstaff Funeral Home, Roann, with the Rev. Alan Vojtkowiak officiating. A 1933 graduate of Bunker Hill High School, she graduated in 1938 from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Kokomo and worked for many years as a registered nurse in the Kokomo and Peru areas. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Kokomo. Other survivors are a son, Mark E. Small of Lafayette; a daughter, Emily Myers of Russiaville R.R. 2; two sisters, Pauline Harrell and Marjorie A. Lawhead, both of Kokomo, and two grandchildren. A son and a sister preceded her in death. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Joan of Arc with the Rev. Kenneth Bohlinger as celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kokomo. on July 27, 1980.²

Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Rebecca Howard of Kokomo; a daughter and son-in-law, Georgia E. and Bruce Kistler of Kokomo; three grandchildren, Christopher B. Howard, Stacy E. Howard, and Steven J. Kistler. Preceding him in death were a son, Henry Howard; and a daughter, Elizabeth Irene Howard. Services will be at l p.m. Saturday in Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. The Rev. John Oark will officiate. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. on December 1, 1994.⁵
