     Kenneth Gilbert Crowder was born on August 17, 1942 at Fincastle, Botetourt Co., Virginia.^3,4,5 He married Maria Ada Nichols on March 25, 1961 at Roanoke, Virginia.^4,5 Kenneth Gilbert Crowder died on August 2, 2018 at Virginia at age 75.⁵ He Kenneth Gilbert Crowder was born in Botetourt County, Virginia, August 17, 1942. He went to sleep on August 2, 2018. Kenneth was predeceased by his mother and then his father, Junie May Boothe Crowder and William Gilbert Crowder. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maria Nichols Crowder; and his sister, Gail Marie Crowder Hudgins (Donnie W.) Children surviving are Maria Tara Crowder Sanchez (Luis), Toby Bryn Crowder (Debbie), Micah Taze Crowder (Marisa) and Tedi Meredith Crowder Lilly (Justin). Grandchildren are Maria Tre'sa Sanchez and Nicholas Manuel Sanchez, Kara Crowder Bell, Toby Parker Bryn Crowder and Kenton Blake Crowder, Kinley Ada Crowder, Carson Marye Lilly and Jonah Allen Lilly; many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was a man of many talents but considered his service to Jehovah God as an elder in the Troutville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and being a teacher and an evangelizer, as his most important endeavors to a well spent life. Loved by his family and many friends, he was known for his humor and laughter. He was a wonderful husband, a loving brother, devoted father and a patient, true friend to many. The family would like to express their appreciation to Good Samaritan Hospice for their kind and caring services to Kenneth and our family and to the nurses who took such special interest in our dear Kenneth, Kathy, Cary and Sara. We especially thank Doctor Adams, Emily Couric Cancer Center, Doctor Callis, Jefferson Surgical Clinic and Doctor Fintel, Blue Ridge Cancer Center, and their wonderfully professional nurses and staff, for the extra four and a half years of time their efforts afforded us under their watchful, careful care. To our friends and family who comforted us, gave us support and lovingly fed us and watched after us during this last sad portion of the journey for Kenneth, our love and gratitude. On August 10, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m., the family will receive visitors at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road in Daleville, Virginia, and on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. a memorial discourse will be delivered by Joel Watkins. on August 9, 2018.⁵

     Lonnie Herman Cobb was born circa 1903 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ He married Mildred Edna Hively, daughter of William Thomas Hively and Laura Catherine Dodd, on June 4, 1927 at Clendenin, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹

     Jesse Elbert Ferrell Sr. was buried at Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield, Hardy Co., West Virginia.⁴ His Social Security Number was 235-10-0524.⁵ He married Zula Marie Hively, daughter of William Thomas Hively and Laura Catherine Dodd.^1,3 Jesse Elbert Ferrell Sr. was born on July 12, 1915 at Falling Rock, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^5,4 He died on September 18, 2002 at Winchester, Virginia, at age 87.^5,4 He Jesse Elbert Ferrell Sr., 87, of Wardensville, W.Va., died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at the Almost Home Assisted Living in Winchester. Mr. Ferrell was born July 12, 1915, in Falling Rock, W.Va., and was the son of the late Albert T. and Mary Perdue Ferrell. He was a retired pipe worker and a member of the Wardensville United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Lion's Club, Capon Valley Ruritans, Pipe-Viners Union No. 798, and the Masonic Lodge No. 29 32nd Degree Scottish Rite-York Rite. His wife, Virginia Orndorff Ferrell, preceded him in death. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Judy M. Harman of Fair Oaks, and Lynne J. Rickard of Winchester; three sons, Jesse E. Ferrell Jr. and Edward Lawson, both of Clendenin, W.Va., and Roland Thomas Ferrell of Elkview, W.Va; a sister, Emma V. Legg of Cleveland, Ohio; and eight grandchildren. The Rev. Luther "Nip" Crites will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at the Elmore Chambers Funeral Home in Moorefield, W.Va. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield with Masonic rites by the Moorefield Masonic Lodge No. 29 A.F.&A.M. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was a retired bookkeeper from Western National Gas, former member of Westside Christian Church, Bradenton, where she was a member of Senior Singers and Adult Choir, and a member of Brevard Wesleyan Church. Surviving: husband, Joseph B. Peters; daughters, Elaine Sturgeon of Fredricksburg, Va., Sally Gall of Palm Harbor, Fla; son, Ralph of Lake Toxaway, N.C; sister, Eva Bailey of Bradenton; seven grandchildren.      Joseph Bolenski Peters was buried at Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton, Manatee Co., Florida.^3,4 He was born on October 5, 1915 at Nocatee, St. Johns Co., Florida.^4,5 He married Ordith Lee "Angela" Summers, daughter of James G. Summers and Bessie Maude Hively, on February 4, 1949 at Bradenton, Manatee Co., Florida.^1,2 Joseph Bolenski Peters died on May 8, 2009 at Florida at age 93.^3,4 He PETERS, Joseph B. of Palm Harbor, and previously of Bradenton, age 93, died May 8, 2009. He was a son of the late Joseph Cleveland and Sallie Elizabeth Peters. He was predeceased by his wife Ordith S. "Angela" Peters; a daughter, Carmen P. Turner; and one grandson, Erik Gollnick. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, a WWII United States Army veteran, and retired from the Florida National Guard permanent staff. Survivors include one son, Ralph J. Peters and wife Lynn Peters, of Lake Toxaway, NC; two daughters, Elaine Sturgeon, of Fredericksburg, VA and Sally Gall and husband Keith M. Gall of Palm Harbor; two granddaughters, Stacey Peters and Heather Crawford; four grandsons, Chris Peters, Taylor Gall, Morgan Gall & Adam Peters; two great-grandchildren, Savannah Peters, and Erik Walters. Funeral services will be held at Manasota Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Bradenton on Saturday, May 23 at 2 pm with a viewing at 1 pm. There will also be a memorial service at Harborside Christian Church in Safety Harbor at 4 pm May 24.
