     Delois Venita White Delois V. Conner, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Conner, the daughter of the late McKinley P. White and Mary E. (Weatherford) Cochran was born July 6, 1939 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of The Palace of Praise and had retired as a CNA from Doctors Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Conner enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and going on vacations, but what she cherished most was spending time with her family and having family dinners. In 1956, she married Carl E. Bilskey, Sr. in Arkansas. He preceded her in death. In 1964, she married Rufus W. Conner, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include seven children, Carl Edward Bilskey, Jr. and companion of 10 years, Rebecca Taylor, Rose Mary Norman and husband, John Fuller, Jr., Jimmy Ray (Mickey) Bilskey, Ricky Alan Bilskey all of Poplar Bluff, Gary Dale Conner of Hobart, Ind., Paul M. Bilskey of Arkansas and Mary McCammon of Hutchison, Kans; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Ray Cochran of Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by two children, David Bilskey, Kathy S. Bryant, a sister, Janey Cochran and two brothers, James White and a newborn brother. She was a daughter of the late Jody and Dorothy Daniels Brooks and was the wife of the late Joseph Lee Harris. She was a member of Newland Church of Jesus Christ and she retired from Sloop Memorial Hospital. Surviving are three daughters, Ada Gragg of Boiling Rock, Leda Gwyn of Crossnore and Janie Stocksbury of Oklahoma; a son, Thomas Harris of Crossnore; three sisters, Sadie Aldridge and Nellie Shook of Crossnore and Ora Belle Woody of Marion; a brother, Cecil Brooks of Newland; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Newland Cemetery. on May 17, 1988.³

     Brandy Michelle Riffe was born on September 24, 1984 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.³ She died on July 23, 2016 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 31.³ She Brandy Michelle Riffe, 31, of Bluefield, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Princeton. After graduating from Pikeview High School, Brandy proudly served in the National Guard for 6 years as a military police officer. Born September 24, 1984 in Princeton, she was the daughter of Rhonda Dawn Bowles-Riffe & Edward "Eddie" Lee Riffe. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rufus Riffe (Deceased) & Lovada Riffe (Deceased); and her maternal grandmother, Louise Bowles (Deceased). Brandy is survived by her parents, Rhonda Dawn Bowles-Riffe & fiancé, Joe Berry, of Bluefield, and Edward "Eddie" Lee Riffe & Martha Riffe, of Knoxville, TN; brother, James Riffe, of Knoxville, TN; grandfather & step-grandmother, Jimmie Bowles & Betty Bowles; special aunt & uncle, Tammy Shorter & Randy Shorter, of Speedway; aunts & uncles, John Riffe & wife Ann Riffe, Greg Riffe & wife Barbara Riffe, Mike Riffe & wife Shelia Riffe, Clay Riffe & wife Teresa Riffe, Thomas Riffe & wife Sherry Riffe, Ronnie Riffe, Pat Mullins, Lucille Dash, Myra Dawson & husband Mark Dawson, and Linda Riffe; and numerous loving cousins. on July 26, 2016.³
