     Albert Farmer Turner was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.2 His Social Security Number was 223-34-6939.4 He married Patsy Nell Duncan, daughter of William Melvin "Willie" "Will" Duncan and Nora Mae Henry.1 Albert Farmer Turner was born on July 2, 1929 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.4,5 He died on October 19, 2007 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 78.2,3,4 He Albert Farmer Turner, 78, of Roanoke, passed away suddenly in his sleep on Friday, October 19, 2007. He is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther A. Turner, mother, Alma Webster Turner, brother, Arlen Turner and nephew, James C. Turner. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife, Patsy of 53 years; son, Wayne ( Darlene ) Turner; daughter, Karen Palmer; brother, Lester ( Doris ) Turner of Blue Ridge; sister, Javotte Turner; grandchildren, Jennifer and John Godfrey, Jamie and Adam Heap, Christopher Turner, David Palmer, James Palmer, Jared and Melissa Palmer; niece, Cynthia and Terry Huxhold. Albert proudly served his country in the military stationed two years in Germany. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and The American Legion. Albert was retired from Shepherds Auto Supply and Auto Spring and Bearing Company where he worked 50 years as a sales representative. He was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in which he held many important positions Branch President, District President, Bishop, State President and Welfare agent. Albert Turner was a kind, gentle and honest man always willing to help anyone in need. He loved his family, children and grandchildren and his dog, Sparky. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wayburn Dr. with Bishop Ellsworth officiating and James Bullion and Charley Turner assisting. The interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on October 22, 2007.2

     Melanie Ann Wilson Melanie Ann Wilson, 51, of Roanoke passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at her home. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia on January 21, 1969, the daughter of the late Carolyn Caldwell Webb. Melanie is survived by her father, John C. Wilson of Roanoke and brother, John C. Wilson II with Mary Wilson and nephew Joe of Roanoke, her aunt Nancy Caldwell of Roanoke, and best friend John Tanner. Melanie was a lover of many things but most importantly animals, music, art, and Juvenile Diabetes research. Melanie loved animals and would do all she could to rescue cats in need. She was also an avid music fan of Duran Duran, The Police, U2 and Pink Floyd. Melanie regularly attended as many concerts as possible during her teen and early adult years.2 She was born on January 21, 1969 at Roanoke, Virginia.3,2 She died on January 30, 2020 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 51.2
