Wall and wife Tiffany of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Heather, Kira, Dawn, John, Brett, Bryce and Jason; four great-grandchildren, Gibson, Haley, Mady and Hunter; one sister, Nancy Elliott of Ashland, Ky. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Harold Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Garden in Princeton. A time of sharing will be held on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. on April 7, 2010.1

     John Walker Wall John W. Wall, 86, of Clemson Circle Princeton, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Princeton Health Care Center. Born August 30, 1932 in Bastian, VA, he was the son of the late Major and Pearl Hylton Wall. John served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army. For most of John's life he worked as a Diesel mechanic, having worked for National Linens, Consolidated Bus Lines and retired from Ken Carter machinery. While his health permitted, he enjoyed going to flea markets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce Carroll Mann Wall and nine brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted children, Regina Dove and husband Larry, Jason Wall and wife Tiffany, and John Wall and wife Michelle. Seven grandchildren, Heather, Kira, Dawn, John, Brett, Bryce and Jason. Seven great-grandchildren, Gibson, Haley, Mady, Hunter, Logan, Brody and Levi. Two brothers, Scott Wall and wife Della and Joe Wall and wife Mary; along with several nieces and nephews. Special thanks for the wonderful care provided by the staff of Princeton Health Care Center. Burial will follow with military graveside rites provided by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Wall, Gibson Varney, Brent Harman, Kent Harman, Joe Ray and Nick Constantino; Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Wall, John Wall, Monty Wall and Jason Cole.3 He was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.3 He was born on August 30, 1932 at Bastian, Bland Co., Virginia.3,5 He married Joyce Carroll Mann, daughter of Leonard W. Born at Dry Pond in Monroe Co., W.Va. on June 7, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Ottie Mann Sr. and Ruby Miller Mann Eary. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She had been employed at the sewing plant in Narrows, and retired from the Celanese Plant at Narrows. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband "Dunnie" Dan Bailey Jr; and her brother, Ottie Mann Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughter-in-law, "Hammer" Danny and Debbie Bailey of Peterstown, W.Va., "Punkie" Timothy Bailey of Ballard, W.Va; her daughter, Teresa L. Martin of Narrows; her grandchildren, Timmy, Dusty, Travis, Scottie, Tonya, and Chevy; her great-grandchildren, Davian, Braxton and Maddie; her brother, Henry Mann of Glen Lyn; her sisters, Helen Adkins of Lindside, W.Va., and Patty Jones of Peterstown, W.Va.
