Ben Jennings of Sebring, Fla; a sister, Mary Martin of Oak Hill; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, and at the church one hour prior to services on Sunday. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy SeaBee and survived the sinking of the USS Air Craft Carrier Wasp at Guadalcanal. In addition to his wife, Mr. Noble is survived by a brother, Irving Noble of Philadelphia, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers. on February 23, 1999.⁴

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Franklin Shockey Sr., on March 26, 1969; and a grandson, James C. Morris, on May 16, 1997. Survivors include four sons, Raymond W. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. on August 28, 2004.⁶
