Mr. Lilly retired from Kenosha Transportation and was formerly employed as Deputy Sheriff Sargent. in Goochland County, Virginia. He was a life member and past Master of Chester Masonic Lodge #18 and a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of over 33 years, Sarah Harrison “Sally” Lilly; one daughter, Babs Fletcher of Richmond, VA; one grandson, Adam Fletcher of Richmond, VA; one brother, Tommy M.      Lori Dawn Chewning Lori Dawn Coleman, age 61 of Salem, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Lewis Gale Medical Center following a long illness. Lori was born in Roanoke July 6, 1962 and was the daughter of the late Steve E. and Bonnie M. Poff Chewning. She lived most of her life in Salem. She was a graduate of Salem High School in 1980. Lori loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining on holidays and was a long-time member of Fellowship Community Church in Salem. In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her brother, Eddy Chewning. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Michael R. Coleman; sons: Joshua Steven (Emily) Harlow of Salem, Joseph Christopher (Angela) Harlow of Roanoke; step-son, Adam Wade Coleman of Salem; grandchildren: Jocelynn, Ella, and Jordan; brother, Jeff Chewning of Wirtz; best friend, Gaynelle Day of Virginia Beach; and faithful companion, Sofia Grace.⁴ She was born on July 6, 1962 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,4,6 As of September 12, 1981,her married name was Harlow.³ She married James Ellis Harlow Jr. on September 12, 1981 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ Lori Dawn Chewning and James Ellis Harlow Jr. were divorced on June 14, 2001 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁵ As of February 23, 2002,her married name was Coleman.³ Lori Dawn Chewning married Michael Ray Coleman on February 23, 2002 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2,4,3 Lori Dawn Chewning died on January 20, 2024 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 61.⁴
