He was born on February 12, 1931, in Craig County, a son of the late Ott Mason Crawford and Hattie Bell Vest Crawford. Mr. Crawford was retired from Beatrice Foods in Lexington, and was a member of New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Estelle Swisher Crawford; one son, Roy C. Crawford of Fairfield; four daughters, Linda M. Knick of Lexington, Patsy A. Henderson of Waynesboro, Wanda S. Ramsey of Lexington and Norma J. Housman of Waynesboro; two brothers, Clyde C. Crawford and Charles W. Crawford of Lexington; one sister, Cathaline C. Kesler of Lexington; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by a brother, James M. Crawford. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 1996, in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles R. Russell officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Williams Funeral Service in Lexington. on September 30, 1996.¹
