     Carol Ruth McCune Carol Ruth McCune Stump, 79, of Fayetteville, WV died on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born August 25, 1937 at Cabin Creek, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry and Virginia Estep McCune. Carol was a retired nurse having worked in nursing homes. Survivors include three sons, William Floyd Stump and wife, Charity of Gatewood; Hager Stump and David Stump both of Texas; four brothers; one sister; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. Ms. Stump will be cremated. There will be no visitation or service.² She was born on August 25, 1937 at Cabin Creek, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² She married James Fay Stump, son of William Lemuel "Lem" Stump and Rebecca Okadine Smith, on June 11, 1957 at Gatewood, Fayette Co., West Virginia.³ As of June 11, 1957,her married name was Stump.³ Carol Ruth McCune died on October 16, 2016 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia, at age 79.²

     Alice McCune was buried at Hughes Creek Cemetery, Hugheston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ She was born on May 23, 1943 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ She died on August 29, 1943 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹
