She was united in marriage to Dean Utterback on September 28, 1947. Dean passed away July 3, 1993. Alma is survived by her daughter, Nancy Carlson, of Bettendorf; sons, Jim Utterback, of Davenport, and Gary Utterback, of Windmor, Calif; grandchildren, Chris, Michelle, Lori, Amy, Tammy, and Brinley; great-grandchildren, Amber, Becca, Cody, Tyler, Taylor, Ciarra, Ashlyn, Kylee, Phoenix, Hailey, and Cailee; and a very special friend, Cindy Montegna. She loved her family immensely and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Sam and Danny Raley, sister, Jean Kiser, and an infant grandson, Jamie Utterback. on July 9, 2007.¹
