Born at Galloway; he was the son of Mrs. Wills Crouse Lee of Grafton and the late Leonard Crouse. He was a resident of Duhring for the past three years. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, having served in the U. S. Navy. He was a veteran of different services, having served for 17 years. He was employed by the Consolidated Coal Co. at Eckman at the time of death. He was a member of UMWA Local of Eckman and a member of the American Legion. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Lee Surface Crouse of Duhring; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Hawn of Reedsville and Mrs. Jean Marple of Wellsville, Ohio; three brothers, John Crouse, Bill Crouse and Sonny Crouse, all of Grafton. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. R. B. Pickett officiating, assisted by Rev. Harold Goins. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at Bluewell. Pallbearers will be Jim Lowman, Harold Lowman, Coy McCallahan, Jerry Farris, Gordon Lane and James Goins. on September 17, 1975.²

Born in Duhring, he was the son of the late William A. Moore, Sr., and Arrabelle Linkous Moore. He had been a resident of Dublin for 20 years and was a retired carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: sisters, Mrs. Dixie Dyer of Lynchburg, Va., Mrs. Paul (Alma) Mahassey of Holly Hills, Fla., and Mrs. Claude (Frances) Garrett of Princeton; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday at ll a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. Keith Massey officiating, and burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Bluewell. She is survived by her husband Frank Flink of the home; son Michael Lipke; her beloved granddaughter Victoria Jones; great grandson Brian; two nephews and four stepchildren: Frank Jr., Eileen, George and Eric Flink. Additional survivors include two sons, Mark Gilbreath, and Scott Gilbreath and wife Tammy, all of Carthage and a daughter Lori Terry and husband Joel, also of Carthage, MO: her mother Maxine Law, Carthage and a brother Dale Law, Carthage, three granddaughters, Lindsay Terry, Megan Gilbreath and Lauren Gilbreath, all of Carthage. Services were at the Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage. The Rev. Richard Waters officiated with burial in Park Cemetery. on May 16, 2003.³

     Mark Allen Gilbreath was born on November 29, 1966 at Jasper Co., Missouri.^3,2 He died on October 13, 2014 at Carthage, Jasper Co., Missouri, at age 47.^2,3 He Mark Allen Gilbreath, age 47, passed away Monday October 13, 2014 in his rural Carthage home. Mark was born on November 29, 1966 and graduated from Jasper High School in 1985. Mark was a lifelong member of Faith Lutheran Church. He worked as a cashier for Price Cutter in Carthage where he was loved by both his customers and coworkers. Mark’s true passion was sports; he was the number one fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals and the Jasper Eagles. He kept stats, line judged, moved chains, and did whatever else was asked of him for many local sports teams and at both the high school and collegiate level. Mark simply loved people: friends, family, coaches, players and customers. His smile and laugh will be missed by all of those who knew Mark. He is preceded in death by his mother Darlene Gilbreath. Services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday October 16, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday October 15, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery. on October 14, 2014.²
