He was the husband of the late Arlene Redden and he served in the United States Army during WWII. Survived by his son, Lieutenant Randy Redden and his wife Julie of Farmville, VA, his sister, Margaret R. Williams of Jumping Branch, two grandsons, Jeffrey Keith Redden of Springfield, VA and William Randolph Redden and his wife Celia Ramirez Redden of Fairfax, VA, his great granddaughter, Ashlie Rene Redden of Stafford, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by two infant children, and one sister Janice Ruth St.Claire. Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday September 11, 2006 at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, VA. Family will receive friends Sunday evening 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at the Puckett Funeral Home. Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday September 12, 2006 at the Restwood Memorial Gardens, Hinton with Pastor Bill Fox officiating.
