Charlie is survived by her husband Wayne Peters, her two daughters, Tina Michelle Ringler and Wendy Renee Peters; her two grandchildren, Brittney Renee Ringler and Bradley Scott Ringler; and her three siblings, Roy Cecil Leedy Jr., Robin Lynn McKee, and Dawn Maria Ferris. Charlie is also survived by six nieces and nephews, Kelly Dianne Bryant, Mary Elizabeth Thomas, Christina Anne Leedy, David Lee Manning, Megan Nicole Leedy, and Jonathan Reid Ferris. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home, Niceville, Fla., with Ken Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the cause that assists with organ transplants. There has to be a great party going on in Heaven with everyone! She was preceded in death by her parents, Addie and Elmo Stamper. Surviving are her son, Dennis (Peggy) Tinsley; daughters, Susan (Carl) Walters, Michelle Conner and Pam Tinsley; siblings, Betty (Bill) Blankenship, Calvin Stamper, and Faye (Charlie) Tinsley; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family will honor Carol's request that there be no visitation or service. on November 9, 2020.³
