She worked at Westinghouse and retired from Bassett Furniture. Mrs. Arnder was a member of Friendly Chapel Church. Mrs. Arnder is survived by six children, the late Rev. Frank Arnder and his wife, (Reva) of East Bend, Mildred Ruth (Bobby Dean Sr.) Bryant of Pinnacle, Linda Christine Bryant and her late husband (Clayton Bryant), Faye Shirlene Arnder and (fiancée Cecil Kirkman), Donnie Lee Arnder (Brenda) of Mt. Airy and Ronald Ray Arnder (Angela) of Mt. Airy; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Arnder was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Rev. Frank Arnder; and her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Friendly Chapel Church at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Don Collins, Bro Jerry Perdue and the Rev. Ken Amen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
