He was born Nov. 30, 1936, at Floyd, Va., the son of Branson and Reva Dickerson Graham. He graduated from Floyd High School, Floyd, Va. A resident of Hutchinson since 1969, he was employed by Dillon's Bakery for 37 years, retiring in 1998. He belonged to Local No. 245 Bakery, Confectionary and Tobacco Union, and for over 20 years he worked in the Carving Booth at the Kansas State Fair. He served in the U.S. Army, serving at Italy. On Aug. 30, 1958, he married Nancy M. Somers at Lincoln. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Curtis R. Jr., Hutchinson; two daughters, Keyna Kienzle and Debbie Symonds, both of Hutchinson; two brothers, Bill, Roanoke, Va., and Ralph, Salem, Va; three sisters, Elaine Quisenberry, Floyd, Va., Catheryn Stuphin, Martinsville, Va., and Margie Morris, Blacksburg, Va; and six grandchildren, Loyal Ray, Kacie and Jessica Kienzle, and Shannon, Tyler and Jemmie Symonds. Graveside service will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with military graveside rites conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard. on September 19, 2005.7

She was born June 18, 1953 to the Rev. Charlie Easter and Chrystal Bouldin Easter Hodges of Martinsville, Va. Her father preceded her in death. Surviving in addition to her mother are her step-father, Jasper Hodges; a daughter, Melissa Y. Nazworth of Roseboro; five brothers, David "Bo" Richardson, James "Dog" Easter, Daniel "Rufus" Easter, Bobby "Dudley" Easter and Charlie "Vard" Easter, all of Eden; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Bassett Funeral Service chapel in Bassett, Va. with the Rev. J.D. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Danview Cemetery in Eden. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. on May 8, 2005.3
