He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine G. Cronk; his brother, Allen Cronk; his son, Jeffrey A. Cronk; and an infant daughter. Arlo is survived by his wife, Ruth Jean Cronk; sister, Mary C. Schoonover and brother-in-law, Roscoe Schoonover; sister, Jeanne Herron; stepchildren, Sandra McClanahan, David Crewey, and Donna Ferguson; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all loved him dearly. He lived his life in honorable service to others, especially his family and his beloved church. Arlo spent his life as a carpenter and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.³ He was buried at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 5070 Cove Road N. Gray, Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn. and James Vaiden Gray of Norfolk, Va; one daughter, Ellen Gray Zimmerman of Milford, N.J; six grandchildren, Lisa Nicole Gray, Benjamin Hunt Gray, Windsor Ellen Gray, John Dennis Reilly, Jr., Marellen Schwab and Peter James Reilly; one brother, Howard Ellis Gray of Vero Beach, Fla. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Memorial may be sent to the charity of ones choice. on January 13, 2002.²
