Funeral was held Thursday, Dec. 23, 1976, at 11:00 am. at Havens Chapel Methodist Church, Terrys Fork, with the Rev. Floyd Murphy officiating. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery, Salem. on December 30, 1976.2

Sunday School Class and the "Quilters Group". Her family will never forget her courageous fight for life and from this each of us have gained enormous strength. The gift of love, caring, devotion and guidance, Ellen has given her family and friends will be greatly missed, but the memories will always remain in our hearts. Grieving her loss here on earth are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda B. and Bruce W. Watkins; grandchildren, Daryl W. Watkins of Norfolk and Melody S. Watkins and fiance, Jay W. Baker III of Roanoke; her twin sister, Evelyn R. and husband, Earl Clasbey of Salem; nieces, Brenda and husband, Donnie Jones of Moneta and Beverly and husband, Michael Slaughter of Roanoke; great-nieces and nephews, Bryan and Sherman Jones of Moneta and Jesse and Rosie Slaughter of Roanoke; several other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; sisters-in-law, Frances Basham of Vinton, Annie Lee and husband, Eddie Lloyd of Montvale; and her devoted companion and pet Oreo, who never left her side. The family wishes to express special thanks to Kelly, Martha and Nicki from Carilion Hospice, Pam from Kelly Assisted Living, Dr. Robert Heath, Dr. Sam Williams and Dr. Stephen Kennedy. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 1999 at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by the Rev. Don McCaskill and special music by Carolyn Rich, whom the family wishes to thank. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Curtis R. Sr. and Thelma P. Orris Teel of Oxford. Anna had worked at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Md., for 39 years. She enjoyed craftwork and flowers, but her greatest joy was her family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Lynne A. Bargar of Saegertown and Denise Andrews-Smith of Orion, Mich; three grandchildren, Joshua Bargar, Sarah Bargar and Ian Smith; one brother, C. Randy Teel Jr. of Oxford; two sisters, Shirley J. Wagner of Maryland and Barbara E. Charlton of Oxford; four nephews, Jason Teel, Brandon Wagner, Scott Charlton and Gary Charlton; two nieces, Jamie Teel and Kristy Hagy; one great-nephew, Nolan Hagy; and two great-nieces, Hannah Hagy and Madisyn Teel. She was preceded in death by a niece, Rachel Charlton. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, at Edward L. Collins Funeral Home Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, where family and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Little Elk Friends Cemetery, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Oxford Senior Center, 12 E. Locust St. Oxford, PA 19363. on June 24, 2010.2

He was the husband of Anna M. Teel Andrews of Oxford. The son of the late Russell W. Andrews and Phyllis Briemer, Andrews was born in Streator, Ill. He lived in Oxford for 26 years. Mr. Andrews retired from the U. S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1985 after 24 years of service. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He received the Meritorius Unit Commendation/Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm and the Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Andrews was employed for the past 15 years by Pyle's Home and Supply, Avondale, PA. He was a member of the American Legion, Roy. W. Gibson, Post #535, Oxford. He was a volunteer at the Jennersville Regional Hospital, West Grove. He graduated from Penn State University, class of 1959 with a degree in Metallurgy. He received his Masters Degree in 1961 from Penn State University. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lynne A. Bargar of Saegertown, Pa., and Denise Andrews – Smith of Orion, Mich; and two grandchildren, Joshua John Bargar and Sarah Lynne Bargar, both of Saegertown. Services were held on Sept. 27 at the Edward L. Collins Funeral Home, Inc. in Oxford. Interment was held at the Little Elk Friends Cemetery in Oxford.
