Women's Club, and was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of Samuel Q. "Quentin"' Reed. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Texie) Doolittle, Elkhart, Ind; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Hollingsworth of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Greencroft Center in Goshen, Ind. or the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 637, Rockingham, N.C. 28380. on January 27, 1998.4

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Poff and James Poff, and two sisters, Myrtle Williams and Ora Albert. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Woodrow Dailey; two sons, Richard Dailey and wife Diana of Richlands, Va. and Melvin (Bill) Dailey and wife Deborah of Sebring, Fla; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn; four grandchildren, Nicole Dailey, Ryan Dailey, Beth Tiller and husband Roger and Dr. Kay Dales and husband Dr. Joe Dales. Three great-grandchildren, Brianna Tiller, Joey Dales and Zachery Dales also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Etta Dailey will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 in the Singleton Funeral Services Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Va. with the Rev. Robert Steele officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Bashor lived in Shenandoah until 1961 when she moved to Roanoke and later to Iaeger. She was a member of The United Daughters of the Confederacy in Roanoke, Col. William Preston Chapter of the DAR in Roanoke, Iaeger United Methodist Church and the Margaret Harmon Circle. Mrs. Bashor received a 50 year pin from Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, G. T. Bashor is deceased. Surviving are a son, J. W. Parker of Welch, W.Va; five daughters, Mrs. Lucile L. Alexander of Oak Hill, W.Va., Mrs. Edna Turner, of Iaeger, W.Va., Mrs. Virginia Calser of Bal Rico, Fla., Mrs. Alice Parker Haynes of Miami, Fla. and Mrs. Gladys Thomas of Riverton; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
