Will is survived by his sons Nicholas Herbert Jones and Wilbert David Jones Jr; daughter Patty Loomis; brother Herbert Brady Jones; sister Mary Jane Jones; sweet grandson Briar Wayne Jones; granddaughter Neena Virginia Jones; close nieces Kristi, Tanya, and Leann; 6 grandchildren; 2 step-children; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Will loved playing music on his harmonica and guitar; fishing; and playing cards. He was president of the Bank of Athens and was a member of Athens United Methodist Church. Mr. Cooper was a graduate of Concord College and was treasurer of the Alumni Assn. and was active in the Concord College athletic department. He was a recipient of the Golden Alumni Award and was a Mason and Shriner. Surviving: son, Dr. Harry F: Cooper of Beckley; daughters, Mrs. Charles Bowen of Dalton, Ga., Mrs. Guy Scyphers of Athens; sister, Mrs. Oscar Boggess of Oakvale; half-sister, Mrs. Woodrow Bonds of Beckley; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Athens Cemetery. on June 27, 1975.⁴

Duncan of Bluefield, VA, Helen Mitchell of Bluefield, WV: son, Jim Gilbert of Bluefield, VA; and grandchildren, Raymond Froy, Jim Duncan and Justin Gilbert, all of Bluefield, VA, and Steven Froy and Dreama Mitchell, both of Bluefield, WV. Graveside services will be conducted at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Princeton, WV. on December 9, 1998.⁵
