William Andrew "Andy" Nickels Sr. was buried at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Chesterfield Co., Virginia.2,3 He NICKELS, William "Andy" Andrew, 54, of Chesterfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family after a courageous fight with cancer on February 5, 2019. Even though he is no longer with us, Andy won so many battles over the course of his two-year journey and won so many hearts on his short time here on Earth. Nothing was more important to Andy than his family and he fought each day to spend time with his high school sweetheart and wife of 32 years, Sheila Hudson Nickels. He pushed through the pain to be with his daughter, Laura Beth Green, her husband, Evan Green and his adored grandbabies, Greyson and Kylee Jo. He woke up each morning so that he was able to see his son, Nick Nickels, get married to the love of his life, Erica St. John and have a baby boy, Andrew, that would carry on the Nickels name. Andy was fortunate to grow up and spend almost his entire life in Richmond with his parents, Bill and Alma Nickels; and his two sisters, Dianna McAnelly and Kay Allen. His extended family was large, spread far and wide, but no matter the distance always knew that they were loved. Andy was a long-time member of the Hard Luck Hunt club and a hard-working owner of Fast Glass for 18 years. His large community of friends will no doubt remember him with a smile and a funny story, because to know him was to know how to have a good time. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and friend, Wayne Hudson. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park.2 He was born on June 24, 1964 at Virginia.3,4 He married Shelia Diana Hudson on June 14, 1986 at Chesterfield Co., Virginia.2,4 William Andrew "Andy" Nickels Sr. died on February 5, 2019 at Virginia at age 54.2,3
