Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Oakey's North Chapel with Pastor Owen Stultz and Pastor Allen Lenker officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel. on July 25, 2012.⁴

He founded, built and operated Red Bird Garage on Preston Avenue from 1953 until his retirement in 1980. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Oakey's North Chapel, with Chaplain Brian Whited officiating. The interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
