     Vachel Vance Butcher Vachel Vance “Butch” Butcher, 80, passed away in his home while in the loving presence of his family on November 4, 2020. Butch was born September 4, 1940 in Clay County West Virginia to Melza Thomas and Ora Macie (Paxton) Butcher. He loved hunting and the outdoors. Butch worked as a Steel Worker. He was a loving husband and father, only exceeded by the love for his grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Butch is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lenore (Rose) Butcher, his children Brian Butcher, and Jeffrey Butcher, his 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Frank, and his sister Juanita; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Butch is preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Dolores Butcher.4 He was born on September 4, 1940 at Widen, Clay Co., West Virginia.3,4 He married Lenore Rose on May 5, 1960 at Maysel, Clay Co., West Virginia.3,4 Vachel Vance Butcher died on November 20, 2020 at Ohio at age 80.4

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Veronica Butcher of Clay; daughters, Elizabeth Love Legg of Clay, and Ivy Gabriel Butcher of Spencer; and a sister, Dartanya Gabriel Butcher of Akron, OH.
