     Amos Grandville "Dickie" Knick was buried at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Alleghany Co., Virginia.2,3 He Amos Grandville "Dickie" Knick, age 64, of 5102 Riverland Road, Clifton Forge died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at his residence. Born July 20, 1945 in Alleghany County, Virginia, Dickie was a son of the late Lewis E. and Eleanor Nicely Knick. He was retired from Hercules, Inc. and AET as a slitter operator. He was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church and served in the United States Army. Throughout his life he was a devoted husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend. Dickie was an avid Virginia Tech fan and loved fishing on the Cowpasture River. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis E. "Little Joe" Knick, Jr. He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Starr Knick of Clifton Forge; a step son Joseph Casey Eaton and wife Kristi of Hollidaysburg, PA; three grandchildren, Kimmy Eaton of Culpeper, and Kenzie Eaton and Jayce Eaton of Hollidaysburg, PA; a brother , Ernest Knick and wife Wanda of Iron Gate; a sister, Rosezetta Wills and husband Henry of Longdale Furnace; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gail and John Mallory of Chesterfield; two nieces, Tiffany Wills of Longdale and Dawn Sales and husband Will of Iron Gate; eight nephews, J. R. Wills and Anthony Wills of Longdale Furnace, Shawn Knick and wife Melanie of Covington, Christopher Knick and wife Jessica of Sharon, Michael Nicely and wife Tracy of Iron Gate, Wayne Dwier, Travis Nicely and wife Samantha, and Joshua Nicely and wife Megan, all of Richmond; seven great nephews and two great nieces, Tyler Knick of Covington, Seth Nicely, Hayden Nicely, Bailey Nicely, Grace Sales, and Jacob Sales, all of Iron Gate, and Chase Nicely, Haylee Nicely, and Zachary Dwier of Richmond; an aunt, Hattie Knick of Clifton Forge; two special cousins, Lana Harlow and Keith Simpson, both of Clifton Forge; and a special friend and helper Tristin Bird of Clifton Forge. Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be Reggie Dean, Jon Gilbert, Roger Wilson, Ricky Nicely, Bo Bird, and John Mallory.      George William Hunt George W. Hunt, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 in King George, Virginia. He leaves Patricia F. Gaines and their blended family of daughters and grandchildren; Tami Hunt Harrison and family, Deborah Hunt Avery and family and Barbara Gaines Rothman and family. George was born July 15, 1937 to the late Howard and Hilda (Clark) Hunt in Traverse City, Michigan. He graduated from Traverse City High School in 1955 and attended Michigan State before being drafted into the Army. Following Military service, George graduated from the Virginia State Police Academy in the class of 1960. After a number of years as a Virginia State Trooper he then took a position as a Town of Leesburg police officer. His last position served was Lieutenant at the Loudoun County Sherrif’s Office. In his younger years he volunteered with the Leesburg Fire Company #1 and Loudoun County High School sports. He is survived by sisters, June Newhall of Sandy, Utah and Bonnie Slaven of Tranverse City. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Reva Crowder Hunt and sisters, Doris Core, Helen Swanson, Margaret Trimm and brother Donley Hunt. George and Pat moved their home from Leesburg to King George, Virginia in 2004 and enjoyed new activities and interests including traveling, volunteering at the KG Animal Shelter and memberships at St. John’s Episicopal Church and the local AARP organization.3 He was buried at Union Cemetery, 323 North King Street, Leesburg, Loudoun Co., Virginia.1 He was born on July 15, 1937 at Traverse City, Grand Traverse Co., Michigan.1,3 He married Reva Marlene Crowder, daughter of James Abel Crowder Jr. and Vinecie Polly Huff, on June 24, 1958 at Bexar Co., Texas.4,2,3 George William Hunt died on January 15, 2016 at King George, King George Co., Virginia, at age 78.3,1
