     Robert Howard Wilson Sr. was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.1 He was born on February 12, 1915 at Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas.1,2 He married Voe Elizabeth Partlow, daughter of Ross Gerald Partlow Sr. and Voe Botkin Calhoon, circa 1944.1,2 Robert Howard Wilson Sr. died on February 14, 2005 at Texas at age 90.1,2 He Robert Howard Wilson, Sr. died February 14, 2005 at the age of 90. He was born in Fort Worth, TX on February 12, 1915 to Robert H. Wilson and Marguerite Eccleston Wilson. He became an Eagle Scout at the age of 14 and graduated from Fort Worth Central High School in 1931. He graduated from Rice Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1936. From 1936 to 1980 he was employed by Texaco, Inc. in various positions, including Chairman and CEO of Texaco Trinidad, Inc., and he was Corporate Senior Vice President at the time of his retirement. He was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, a Rice University Associate, and a supporter of the Shepherd School of Music. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Voe Elizabeth Partlow Wilson, formerly of Liberty, TX; his son Robert Howard Wilson Jr. and wife Dawn Hill Wilson of Portland, OR; his daughter Elizabeth Jeanette Wilson of Houston, TX; one grandchild, Claire Alexandra Wilson of Portland, OR; Charlotte Carmichael and Stephann Morris of Fort Worth, TX; Alberta Smith of Granite, OK; Nadine Payne of Naperville, IL; Nell and Norm Bruner of Donna, TX; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved and appreciated all his family and friends. He will be remembered for his keen scientific interests and contributions to his field and for his love of humor and wit at all times! Graveside services will be conducted at half past one in the afternoon on Friday, the 18th of February 2005, in the Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, TX. on February 16, 2005.1

     William Waldo Partlow was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.2,1 He Corporal William W. Partlow was killed July 27, 1945 in a plane crash in Saudi Arabia. One of his Army buddies speculated that a fire started somewhere in the front of the plane, and that the pilot attempted to make a forced landing, but was overcome by the heat or fumes and lost control of the aircraft. When the crew failed to reach their destination, search parties were dispatched, and located the wreckage. In 1948 the Partlow family had the body shipped home for burial in the City Cemetery in Liberty. The Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion conducted graveside services. Will's pallbearers were high school classmates Rubin Allison, Marvin Waldman, Ben Pickett, Horace Pickett, Donald Tims, Glen Rodgers, Allen Chambers, Brit Perryman, Floyd Telford, and Leonard Mason.1 He was born on November 15, 1920.2 He died on July 27, 1945 at Saudi Arabia at age 24.1,2

     Frank Gregg Swindle Sr. was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.2 He LIBERTY - Frank Gregg Swindle Sr. , 67, of Liberty, died Tuesday, July 24, 1990. A native of Itasca, he had lived in Waco and had been a resident of Liberty since 1954. Mr. Swindle was a World War II Air Force Veteran and for many years was the owner and operator of the Swindle Jewelry Company with stores in Liberty and Dayton, Texas. He was a member of the Liberty Rotary Club and had served as president as well a holding other offices. He was a member of the Three Rivers Council of the Boy Scouts of America, was a member of the Executive Board for 16 years and was chairman of the Trinity District for two terms. Mr. Swindle was a member of the Paul Carrington Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. A member or the board of directors of Region IV Education service center, he was a past member of the Liberty School Board. He was a member of the official board of the First United Methodist Church of Liberty and was a member of the Valley Players for over 25 years, where he had served as treasurer, box office manager, and was on the board of directors. Mr. Swindle was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Partlow Swindle and his only brother, Dr. John H. Swindle Jr. He is survived by his son Gregg Swindle Jr. of Farniington, N.M; two daughters, Suzanne Fairchild of Liberty and Luellen Triltsch of Dallas; sister, Triphene Middleton of Liberty; five grandchildren; a nephew, John Middleton of Wallisville, and three nieces. Burial will be at the Liberty City Cemetery. Pallbearers and horiorary pallbearers will be John Jeffrey, Nixon Wheat, Alex Waugh, Harry McGuire, Dr. C. W. Castle, Henry A. Wheeler, Revere St. John, Tommy Davis, Charles Kendrick, E. B. Morrow, Muri Carlton, Joe Leonard, Tom Wheat, Buck Eckols, Terrell Dismukes and Region IV Board of Directors. Mr. Swindle had adopted Galveston as his "second home" city. He was a member of the No. 1 Chapter, Texas Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Galveston Historical Foundation, and a member of the Historical Homes Tour. He was porch docent of the Galveston Children's Home, a volunteer at the Grand 1894 Opera House, a member of the Mardi Gras Krewe of the Knights of Regina, and served as a member of the color guard.1 He was buried at Liberty City Cemetery, Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.1 He married Ellen Catherine Partlow, daughter of William Dozier Partlow and Lucy Gertrude Waldo.1 Frank Gregg Swindle Sr. was born on August 22, 1922 at Itasca, Hill Co., Texas.1 He died on July 24, 1990 at Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas, at age 67.1
