Scott, 87 of St. Albans passed away Friday May 3, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. Born December 26, 1925 in Williamson, he was a son of the late Ernest A. Scott and Matilda Mae Arthur. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Lucille "Lou" Scott, sister, Glenita and brothers Chester and Lester. Ted served his country with the United States Navy during World War II and fought in the battle Iwo Jima and was a retired yard master with C&O Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Tina M. Scott; children, Tom (Bonnie) Beard of Jacksonville, FL, Debbie (Jerry) Troyer of St. Albans, Lugene "Jeannie" (David) Hazlett of Charlotte, NC; step-daughters, Megean Allen (Shane Cooper) of St. Albans and Lindsay Allen (Steve Slack) of South Charleston; grandchildren, Angie, Tracy, Chris, Joshua, Shawn, Scotty, Kelly, Dylan and Jackson; great-grandchildren, Haley, Justin, Chris, Logan, Josie, Jax, Kirk, Danielle, Dalton, Emma, J.T. and Taylor and great-great grandchildren; Noah and Coen.1 He was born on December 26, 1925 at Williamson, Mingo Co., West Virginia.1 He married Dorthy Lucille "Lou" White, daughter of John White and Thelma G. Myers, on April 14, 1950 at South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,2,4 Theodore Roosevelt Scott died on May 3, 2013 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 87.1
