Madden, 78, of Charleston, went home to the Lord Thurs. Sept. 11, 2105, at CAMC Memorial Division. She was born in Lincoln County to Paul and Zoe Brogan Madden. Margaret went to school in Lincoln County. She was a former employee of Putnam County Aging and attended the First Church of Nazarene in Hurricane. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Rocky Pauley and Dennis "Rusty" Pauley. She is survived by daughters, Jacqueline Adams and Twila LaBar; sons, Mark D. Pauley and Brian K. Pauley; brother, Dennis Madden; half-brother, Roger Madden; half-sister, Linda Freeman; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren who all adored her. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Mon. Sept. 14, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Margaret had eyes that saw the best in people, a heart that forgave the worst, a mind that forgot the bad and a soul that never lost faith in God. on September 13, 2015.1
