     Beverly May Keefer Beverly May Mullen (nee Keefer), born April 9, 1937 in Roanoke, Indiana, passed away January 24, 2019. Preceded in death by loving husband Robert Mullen, parents Russell and Rosa Keefer, and siblings Jim Keefer, Don Keefer, and Barbara Keefer. Beverly is survived by dear children Rodney (Pennie) Mullen and Roger (Lisa) Mullen, cherished grandchildren Teague (Joanna) Mullen, Douglas Mullen, Torri Briggs, great-granddaughter Brooklynn Mullen, and beloved brother Gary Keefer. Beverly was an avid gardener, enjoyed ceramics, and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. The family of Beverly will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a funeral service to follow on Tuesday, beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason will follow.2 She was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, 171 S. Keefer, 53, of Rochester and formerly of Auburn, died at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 28, 2000) at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Mr. Keefer worked as a certified public accountant 30 years and for the last eight years had his own practice, Keefer & Co., CPA in Rochester. He was a 1964 graduate of Auburn High School and graduated from the Fort Wayne campus of Indiana University with a degree in accounting. He was a specialist in the Army during the Vietnam War, a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Auburn, an associate of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ, a member of the Indiana Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Rochester Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post 36, Rochester, and Moose Lodge 741, Plymouth. He attended St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Plymouth. He was born Dec. 1, 1946 in Huntington, to Russell and Rosa Slagel Keefer. His mother, Rosa Carpenter, survives in Mason, Ohio. His marriage was Oct. 15, 1994 in Rochester, to the former Marla A. Ringle Condon. She survives. Survivors also include a son, James E. Keefer, El Paso, Texas; and daughters, Lisa A. Walker, Kimmel, and Christine A. Kessler, Grabill; a stepson, Kevin Condon of Bourbon; three stepdaughters, Carleen A. Condon and Kelly L. Kring of Plymouth; and Kimberly S. Rosinski of Bourbon; two sisters, Barbara Cast and Beverly Mellen of Mason; a brother, Gary Keefer, of Mason; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Keefer. Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, where a Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. MichaelÂ's Roman Catholic Church, 611 N. Center St., Plymouth, with Rev. Anthony Gillespie officiating. Burial will be at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, where military honors will be conducted by Rochester American Legion Post 36.1 He was born on December 1, 1946 at Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana.1,2,6 He married Marla A. Visitation will be held from 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday (September 13, 2015) at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (September 14, 2015) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Tom Brady officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Huntington County. Dondas was born on April 15, 1925 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Leo M. and Marie J. (Fanning) Sands. She married Fred G. Carpenter on March 30, 1946 in Huntington and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1991. Dondas was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was baptized at College Park United Brethren Church on September 29, 1985 and was a member of the Wesleyan Church. Survivors include two sons - Gerald F. Carpenter and Danny L. (Pat) Carpenter, both of Huntington; two daughters - Deborah M. (Gary) Kimmel and Pamela R. (Larry) Worster, both of Huntington; two brothers - Gary L. (Mary) Sands of Huntington and Bob J. Sands of Andrews; two sisters - Betty J. Broxon and Rosemary Zeller, both of Huntington; two sisters-in-law - Sharon Sands and Jo Sands, both of Huntington; a grandson-in-law - Tim Glassburn of Huntington; ten grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren. She has preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter-in-law - Linda Carpenter, a granddaughter - Julie A. (Glassburn) Carpenter, a great granddaughter - Whitney N. Carnes, five brothers - Eldon M. Sands, Larry J. Sands, Donald M. Sands, Leonard M. Sands, and Ronnie V. Sands, a sister - Nadine L.
