     Anita Fern Mottesheard Anita Fern Elmore (Tootsie) 89, of New Castle went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 29, 2020. She is preceded in death by husband; Bowman R. Elmore and infant daughter. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Verlyn (Slim) and Bonnie Elmore, daughter and son-in-law; Angie and Johnny Beane, son and daughter-in-law; Clyde and Angela Elmore, grandchildren; J.B. and Dannette Beane, Andy Beane, Morgan and Jesse Mabes, Matthew and Kyndal Elmore, great-grandchildren; Morgan, Riley, and Bowman Beane, Autumn and Tripp Mabes, and Kylee Elmore. Two sisters-in-law; Peggy Winesett and Margaret Elmore, special friends; Joyce Fisher and Betty Smith. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Craig Healing Springs Christian Church with Pastors J.B. Beane and Kenny Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Huffman Family Cemetery.² She was buried at Guy Trollinger Huffman Family Cemetery, off Rt. 632 on John's Creek, Craig Co., Virginia.² She was born on September 22, 1930.³ As of October 20, 1950,her married name was Elmore.¹ She married Bowman Rudolph Elmore, son of Vandon Worth Elmore and Arvada Caldwell, on October 20, 1950.^2,1 Anita Fern Mottesheard died on January 29, 2020 at Virginia at age 89.²
