The baby had been ailing four days and was seriously ill one day. Surviving are the parents, a half brother James Nicholson; two grandmothers Mrs. Lulu Bragg and Mrs Mercy Hartley, and a step- grandfather, Charles Bragg, all of Roanoke; two great-grandmothers Mrs. Rebecca Martens of Roanoke and Mrs. Tatilda Jane Hartley of Millersburg, Michigan; and a great-grandfather Monroe Slagel of this city. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery on the Old Roanoke Road. The Rev. J.W. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 12:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Kati and John Schmucker officiating. Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County. on June 12, 2013.3
