     Oral Robert Elmore UNION, WV - Oral Robert Elmore, age 61, of Union, WV passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Charleston Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV following a short illness. Born July 30, 1955 at Second Creek, WV he was the son of the late Walter B. and Ruth Vance Elmore. Mr. Elmore was a 42 year employee of the BF Goodrich / UTC Plant at Union where he worked maintenance. He attended Union High School and also attended St. John’s and Dropping Lick United Methodist Churches. Oral was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed getting to hunt and fish with his grandkids. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers, Vernon, James, Lewis, Earl, and Dallas Elmore and Leroy Vance; three sisters, Bonnie Ridgeway, Ruby McNeely, and Mary Sue Poe. Survivors include, his wife of 42 years, Brenda Radford Elmore of Union, WV; one son, Eric S. Elmore and wife Dawn of Union, WV; one daughter, Beth Bear and husband Scott of Rural Retreat, VA; grandchildren, Ian and Mya Bear “his babies”; one brother, Tom Elmore and wife Ellen of Second Creek, WV; four sisters, Betty Morrison and husband Jim of Ronceverte, WV, Carolyn Erskine and husband Jessie of Ronceverte, WV, Nancy Morgan of Nags Head, NC, and Rose Mann of Garden Grove, CA; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV with Rev. Patty Adkins and Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery at Salt Sulphur Springs, WV. Oral’s nephews will serve as Pallbearers.⁴ He was buried at Saint John United Methodist Church Cemetery, Salt Sulphur Springs, Monroe Co., West Virginia.^2,4 He was born on July 30, 1955 at Second Creek, Monroe Co., West Virginia.^3,4 He married Brenda Sue Radford on August 16, 1974 at Alleghany Co., Virginia.^3,4 Oral Robert Elmore died on August 27, 2016 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 61.⁴

Born Nov. 11, 1942, at Organ Cave, he was a son of the late William and Pollie A. Deem McNeely. Mr. McNeely was a truck driver, farmer and a Navy veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Elmore McNeely and a brother, Robert McNeely. He is survived by: three sons, Tom McNeely, Rodney (Paulette) McNeely and Jamie McNeely and fiancee Amber all of Organ Cave; 8 grandchildren, Derrick, Tanner, Jagger, Josie, Katie, Jesse, Hunter and Kendra; great-granddaughter, Ruby McNeely; sister, Sharon McNeely and companion Roger Moran of Stuarts Draft, VA; brother, Dale McNeely of Lewisburg; and a special companion, Betsy Sales. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church at Organ Cave. Burial will follow in the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte. Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. on November 7, 2013.³

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Frankford United Methodist Church, Frankford. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg. on August 26, 1996.⁴

     Annette Virginia Delma Jenkins was buried at New Lebanon Cemetery, Pickaway, Monroe Co., West Virginia.² She SECOND CREEK - Annette Virginia Delma Elmore, 80 of Second Creek, WV passed away Friday morning, January 6, 2017 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea following a short illness. She was born at Sinks Grove, WV, July 1, 1936 a daughter of the late George Macil and Nanny Dunbar Jenkins. Mrs. Elmore was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alford Landon Elmore on July 20, 2010; a brother, Bill Jenkins; a sister, Dorothy Corrine Lephew and a son-in-law, Rick Farley. Surviving are 2 sons, Roger Lee Elmore , Dennis Elmore and wife, Barbara all of Sinks Grove; 2 daughters, Deloris Farley of Union, Eva M. Ward and husband, Jack of Second Creek; 1 brother, Macil Jenkins and wife, Pat of Sinks Grove; 3 sisters, Thelma Lephew of Sinks Grove, Jettie Hylton of Ronceverte and Merle Burns of Lewisburg; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union with Rev. Don Trent officiating.
