Vincent Lewis Smith was buried at Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.5 He Vincent Lewis Smith, 78, of 7132 Matthews Run Road, Sugar Grove, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Warren General Hospital. Vincent was born April 14, 1930 in Cameron County, Pa., the son of the late Lewis Alfred and Alice Lehman Smith. He enlisted in the United States Army on Feb. 19, 1946 and was honorably discharged on Dec. 2, 1946. Vincent was employed with the US Forestry Service for several years before retiring due to ill health. He later worked as a general maintenance worker for the Erie Railroad and also in maintenance and construction for other places during his lifetime. He was a member of the Warren County Fire Police for many years and a member of the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department. Vincent loved the outdoors, doing lawn work, going for rides, shopping, collecting fire trucks, donkeys, and trains, and loved to do word searches. He was a fun loving, caring person who was there whenever someone needed him, he was a buddy, a friend, and someone to lend an ear when you were feeling down. He is survived by a companion and special friend with whom he resided, Laura Lee Ruland, Sugar Grove; two sisters, Janet Witham and Jeanne Armstrong, both of Emporium; several nieces and nephews; special friends and God grandkids from the Titusville and Erie area, of whom he got to know through the years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Miller Smith, whom he married on April 26, 1969 in Warren; two brothers, George and Paul Smith; a sister, Imelda MacMillan; one niece, Joyce Condario; and two nephews, Robert MacMillan Jr. and Lee MacMillan.4 He was born on April 14, 1930 at Driftwood, Cameron Co., Pennsylvania; His draft card has a birth year of 1928.2,3,4 He married Joyce Ann Miller, daughter of Ellsworth Leray Miller and Twila Blanche Hulings, on April 26, 1969 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.1,4 Vincent Lewis Smith died on January 10, 2009 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania, at age 78.3,4

David Preston Taylor David P. Taylor, 93, of Warren PA, died Friday December 21, 2018, at the Rouse Home where he was recovering from a fall. He lived in his family's homestead on Dartmouth Street for the last several years. He and his wife, Dorothy lived for many years in a cabin he built on Morrison Run Road, where they enjoyed seasonal campers, hunters and occasional bears. In his free time, David enjoyed family, friends, fishing, hunting, pistol shooting and taxidermy. David was born September 5, 1925 to the late Preston and Hannah (Bohren) Taylor. David was a lineman for Hoosier Engineering and CC Mix. He also served in the US Navy on the USS LST 555 during WWII in the South Pacific Theatre. David is survived by his six nieces and nephews whom loved him dearly: Jack (Gayle) Baker, Barbara Spetz, Patricia Hall, Pamela (Jack) McCurdy, Elaine (Kenneth) Seeley and Toby (Patty) Miller. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Miller Taylor, his sister, Marie Taylor Baker and his niece, Kathryn Smith Niemeyer.5 He was buried at Oakland Cemetery, 37 Mohawk Avenue, Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.6 He married Dorothy M. Sarah Elizabeth Kutz was buried at Newton Cemetery, Emporium, Cameron Co., Pennsylvania.2 She was born on July 12, 1821 at Easton, Northampton Co., Pennsylvania.3,4,2 As of circa 1868,her married name was Chatham.1 She married William Chatham, son of Walter Sweetman Chatham and Eleanor Hall, circa 1868.1 Sarah Elizabeth Kutz died on December 20, 1902 at Pennsylvania at age 81.4 She Mrs. Sarah Chatham died Saturday morning, Dec. 20th, 1902 aged 81 years and five months. The immediate cause of her death was pneumonia, though for a number of years she has been afflicted with partial blindness and the infirmities attendant upon old age. She was born in Easton, Pa, is survived by three sons and two daughters, George Van Lew, of Butler, Pa , William Van Lew, of the state of Washington, Charles Van Lew of town, Mrs. Driver of Clinton County and Mrs. Harlan, of Jersey Shore. For the past ten vears she has made her home with her son Charles and his wife of town, by whom she has been tenderly and faithfully cared for. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, the services of which she regularly attended as her health would permit. She was a person of rare patience, great christian fortitude and faith and died in the full comfort and hope of the gospel. Her character was indeed beautiful. Her disposition bright and sunny, and all feel the better for being in her society. The funeral was held at the home of her son Charles on Monday afternoon, her pastor the Rev. O. S. Metzler officiating. The music was rendered by a quartette composed of Dr. lleilman, I. K. Hockley, Charles Felt and Geo. A. Walker, Jr. on December 25, 1902.4
