     Arlene Victoria Anderson Arlene V. Brewster, 90, formerly of North Warren, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Rouse Warren Co. Home. She was born May 13, 1921 in North Warren, a daughter of the late Arland and Marie (Carlson) Anderson. She was formerlly employed at Chemical Products. Arlene was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Warren, the Eastern Star, Order of Amaranth and the Ferretts. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting and served as a judge at the Warren Co. Fair for many years. Arlene is survived by her children, Richard (Debra) Brewster of Youngsville, Linda (David) Ruhe of West Mifflin, Pa; grandchildren Matthew (Cassandra Galbier) Brewster, Alicia (Erik Owens) Brewster, Christopher (Wanda) Ruhe, Patrick (Kate) Ruhe and Michael (Meghan) Ruhe and 1 greatgrandson, Carson Ruhe. In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd E. Brewster whom she married on February 15, 1946. Friends may call Thursday, February 2, 5-8pm at the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 314 North Main St., Youngsville, and one hour prior to an 11am funeral service on Friday that will be held there with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Rouse Warren Co. Home officiating. Brewster, 91, of the Frewsburg Adult Home, formerly of Westchester Apartments, passed away Saturday (May 18, 2019) at the home. She was born Nov, 2, 1927, in Warren, Pa., the daughter of Norman and Florence Uul Main. Before retiring, she had been employed as a secretary for West Penn Oil. Virginia was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Past Matrons and the Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed music and crocheting. Virginia is survived by a daughter, Judy (Allen) Haller of Kiantone; two grandsons: Steven and Richard Haller of Kiantone, and three great-grandsons: Kyle (Kimberly) Haller of Jamestown and Cody and Zachary Haller of Kiantone. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Brewster; and three brothers: David, Robert and Walter Main. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg. on May 21, 2019.2

Sager Sr., 72, of Tionesta, died Thursday at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Grove City. Born October 19, 1916 in Oil City, he was a son of the late Albert V. and Edna McCalmont Sager. He married Betty M. Brewster Sager on July 19, 1941. She survives. Mr. Sager serves as a justice of the peace in Tionesta for 31 years and was the owner of the former Sager's Bottled Gas in Tionesta for 23 years. He drove a school bus for the late Forest Hale and A. C. Williams of Endeavor. He served as an elder at the United Presbyterian Church of Tionesta. Mr. Sager was a past master of the Olive Masonic Lodge of Tionesta and was a member of the Royal Arch Chapter of Warren, the Venango Lodge of Perfection in Oil City and the Cloudersport Consistory. He was a past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Robert Sharrow Post in Tionesta of which he was a charter member. Mr. Sager was a member of the Gus E. Warden American Legion Post in Endeavor. He was also a member of the Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department and a former scoutmaster in Tionesta. He served in the Army during World War II and as a radio repairman in the C.B.I. theater in India and Burma. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Arthur D. Sager Jr. of Russell and David N. Sager of Tionesta, and a daughter, Mrs. John (Georgia) Sager Stewart of Merrimack, N.H. He is also survived by five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Sager was preceded in death by four brothers, Orville Sager, Sherril Sager, Gerald Sager and Neil Sager, and two sisters, Lettie McElhaney and Georgia Kresinski. Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Haslet-Wimer Funeral Home in Tionesta. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the United Presbyterian Church of Tionesta. Rev. William Holtz Jr. officiated.
