He died on April 25, 2016 at Ringgold, Catoosa Co., Georgia, at age 82.1 He Marvin Kay, 82 of Ringgold, died at his residence, on Monday, April 25, 2016. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and was retired from the EPB after 35 years of service as a Lineman. Marvin was a huge animal lover as well. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Kay. Survivors include his son, David (Mary) Kay; daughter, Marsha (Martin) O’Dell; three grandchildren, Katie O’Dell, Jacqueline Ziegler and Jordan Sloan. At Marvin’s request, his wishes were to have a visitation and private service as quickly as possible. Interment will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. on April 27, 2016.1

     Harry Browning Pinney was buried at Parsons Cemetery, Parsons, Tucker Co., West Virginia.1,2 He Harry Browning Pinney, age 81 years, a resident of Media, Pa., departed this life Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the residences at Chestnut Ridge, Wallingford, Pa. He was born July 23, 1923 at Carnegie, Pa., a son of the late Howard J. Pinney and Pearl Browning Pinney. He was married to the former Lois Gatrell, who preceded him in death January 3, 1991. They had celebrated fifty years of marriage. Surviving are two sons; John Pinney and wife Carlotta of Crisfield, Md., and Richard Pinney of Barnegat Light, NJ., four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother; Howard E. Pinney. He was a graduate of Parsons High School where he starred in basketball. He served with the United States Navy during World War II. He was an Aviation Metalsmith repairing aircraft in the Marshall Islands. Early in his career he worked for the Glenn L. Martin Company in Middle River, Md. While living there, he founded the Hawthorn Little League and co-founded the local Teen Center. He worked as a tool and die maker at Boeing Vertol in Morton, Pa and later a Container Research in Aston, Pa, where he retired. He enjoyed traveling to visit relatives and old friends and meeting new friends at the Hometown Senior Center in Media. He enjoyed playing cards, photography and being the neighborhood handyman. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Monday, April 25, 2005 from 10 to 11 AM the funeral hour, with The Reverend David Fuller officiationg.      Donnia Lou Bishop was buried at Parsons Cemetery, Parsons, Tucker Co., West Virginia.4,3 She Donnia Lou Bishop Gatrell, age 67 years, a resident of Connecticut, and for the past two years a resident of Parsons, WV., departed this life Friday September 3, 2004 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV. She had been in failing health for the past five months. Death was attributed to respiratory failure. She was born Thursday, November 19, 1936 at Fairmont, WV., a daughter of Harold J. Bishop, who preceded her in death and Gladys I. Bray of Tampa, Florida. On June 19, 1957 at Bolt, WV., she was married to John David Gatrell, who preceded her in death August 20, 2002. Also surviving are two sons; Jon B. "Butch" Gatrell of Redding, CT., and Robert Len Gatrell and wife Sue of Fredrick, Md., and one brother; Bernard Bishop of Orlando, Fla. Preceding her in death is one brother; Robert Bishop. She was a graduate of Trap Hill High School of WV with the class of 1954. She attended the Looper School of Business of Charleston, WV., and Morris Harvey Junior College at Charleston, WV. She was a former employee of the T-Bar, Inc., the Norwalk Model Engineering, the Danbury Business Institute, the Westchester Book/ Rainsford Type, the Intrex (ASI) Inc., all at Connecticut, she was a Publishing Typesetter for the Boehringer Ingelheim and she was an administrative assistant at the Danbury Hospital of CT. She was a member of the Holly Meadows Community Education Outreach Service and a member of the United Methodist Women of Parsons. She attended the Parsons Presbyterian Church. Donnia had a great love for bird watching and collecting angels. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home from 6 to 9 PM on Friday. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 11 AM. Pastor David Crapnel will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, WV.3 Her Social Security Number was 233-58-4787.2 She was born on November 19, 1936 at Fairmont, Marion Co., West Virginia.3,5 As of June 19, 1957,her married name was Gatrell.1 She married John David Gatrell, son of Elmer Elliott Gatrell and Ann Virginia Ours, on June 19, 1957 at Bolt, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1,3 Donnia Lou Bishop and John David Gatrell were divorced in 1981 at Connecticut.6 Donnia Lou Bishop died on September 3, 2004 at Morgantown, Monongalia Co., West Virginia, at age 67.2,5,3
