She is survived by her daughter Robin (Kelly) Gentis of Bluffton, along with four grandchildren; Mia Angela Gentis, Kit Michael Gentis, Tia Andrea Gentis and Lia Alicia Gentis. She is also survived by her sisters Mary (Robert) Dafforn of Churubusco, Joan (Hansen) Mechling of Kendallville, Martha (Dwight) Siela of Fort Wayne, and Barbara (Manuel) Gurule of North Carolina, and her brothers Roger Deam of Bluffton and Richard Deam of Bluffton. She was preceded in death by two sons Scott Michael and Kevin Blaine Daniels, two sisters Mayme Schrieber and Margaret Schrieber, and a brother Robert Deam. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home, and one hour before services on Saturday. Services are set for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Sprinkle officiating. Barbara J. Scott PRINCETON - Barbara Stamerjohn, age 83, of Princeton, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. She was born on Jan. 30, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to Rayburn and Gladys (Cook) Scott. She married Glenn Stamerjohn on Jan. 31, 1953, in Peoria, Ill. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2002. Barbara graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio, and attended Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in elementary education. She co-founded The Gingerbread House Preschool, where she was a director and teacher for 31 years. After retiring, she substitute taught in area schools. Barbara served as a docent at the Lovejoy Homestead and the Bureau County Historical Society. She also served as the secretary to the Historical Society Board. She was a hostess on the Good Times Tour motor coaches and delivered mobile meals for many years. Barbara had served as president for the Princeton Newcomers Club and served as a leader and co-director for the Camp Fire Girls Association for 13 years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, where she served on many committees and organized the Outdoor Beautification Program. In addition, she was a member of P.E.O, Hardanger Book Club and was an avid knitter. She is survived by one daughter, Glenda (Jack) Boecher of Palatine, Ill; one son, Scott (Susan) Stamerjohn of Quincy, Ill; and seven grandchildren, Michael, Megan and Molly Boecher and Drew, Christopher, Luke and Ellie Stamerjohn. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.3 She was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Princeton, Bureau Co., Illinois.1 She was born on January 30, 1932 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.1 As of January 31, 1953,her married name was Stamerjohn.3 She married Glenn R. He was past president of the Princeton Optimist Club and was chairman of the Lovejoy Board. He was a member of the Bureau County Planning Commission. He had been a Boy Scout leader and a Little League coach. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at his church, where family will receive friends two hours before. The Rev. Dr. James Galbreath will officiate. Cremation will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. on May 31, 2002.2

During his residence her, he owned and operated a neighborhood grocery store at the corner of Maple Street and Tionesta Avenue for more than a half century until his retirement last year. Mr. Finnefrock was a member of First Methodist Church. He was a former member of the official board of the church and served as board secretary for many years. He belonged to Methodist Men. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and acted as financial secretary of the lodge for a period of 49 years. Mr. Finnefrock was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Harriet Cook Finnefrock in 1941; by two daughters, Mrs. Gladys McElwain in 1955 and Mrs. Lucille Struble in 1959; and by two brothers, Clyde and Grover Finnefrock. He is survived by one son, LaRue Finnefrock, with whom he made his home; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah McMunn, Mrs. Lulu Monagan and Mrs. Inez Fulton, all of Clarion; two brothers, Donald Finnefrock of Clarksburg, W. Va. and Bert Finnefrock of Forestville, N. Y; two grandchildren and a nephew, the Rev. Gale Cook of Sharon who was reared in the Finnefrock home. Friends may call at the Cummings Funeral Home at the usual visiting hours, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 o'clock, beginning Sunday afternoon. Memorial services will be held at Cummings Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Howard C. Patterson of First Methodist Church officiating. She was a member of the Bradford First Methodist Church. She belonged to the Olean Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Struble is survived by husband Charles A. Struble; a daughter, Mrs. Lola Jayne Brook of Hobart, Ind; and a brother, Edwin J. Finnefrock of Kane. She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Mrs. W. D. McElwain. Friends may call at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel, Bradford, at the regular visiting hours beginning this evening at 7. o'clock. Funeral services will be held at Hollenbeck's Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Clytus Mowry of the Bradford Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in McKean Memorial Park. on October 12, 1959.3
