     Theresa M. Hines Theresa M. Mathers, age 54, of Battle Creek died Sunday afternoon, October 20, 2013. She was born in Battle Creek on November 16, 1958, the loving daughter of Elmer L. and Joann E. (Willitts) Hines and graduated from Lakeview High School. Theresa is survived by her 4 children, Wesley Swafford, Margaret Mathers, Jacob Mathers and Sean Mathers, all of Battle Creek, and her special cousins, Josephine and Sandy. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lester Hines. Theresa was a devout Christian who loved to read her Bible and was an active member of Victory Life Church in Battle Creek. She was an avid animal lover who also enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. At the request of the family, they will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013. He had been a resident of Lee County, Va., for most of his life. Bradley had been a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was retired and a member of the Bowling Chapel United Methodist Church in Jonesville, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gracie Wallen; one brother, Fred Wallen; and one brother-in-law, Elmer Bowen. Bradley is survived by one daughter, Lisa Ingle of Jonesville, Va; two grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah Ingle, both of Jonesville, Va; one sister, Etta Ruth Bowen of St. Charles, Va; his ex-wife and longtime friend, Patty Cox of Jonesville, Va; and son-in-law, Dennis Ingle, of Gray, Tenn. The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Province Funeral Home sanctuary in Jonesville, Va., with the Rev. Dennis Fox and the Rev. Lisa McLaughlin officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, Va. on March 30, 2011.²
