     Nora Day Nida was born on March 11, 1904 at Amma, Roane Co., West Virginia.¹ As of June 13, 1923,her married name was Elmore.² She married Lonnie Samuel "Buck" Elmore, son of John Matthew Elmore and Elizabeth Jane McCroskey, on June 13, 1923 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² Nora Day Nida died on April 17, 1983 at West Virginia at age 79.¹

     Martha E. "Jenny" Elmore was buried at Montgomery Memorial Park, Route 60, London, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^4,2 She was born on April 27, 1926 at West Virginia.^1,5,2 As of November 1, 1947,her married name was Bellew.⁴ She married John "Junior" Bellew Jr. on November 1, 1947.^6,4,2 Martha E. "Jenny" Bellew, 83, of Sharon passed away Dec. 29, 2009, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a long illness. She was born April 27, 1926, and was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Nora Nida Elmore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Junior "Jay" Bellew; and brothers, Sam and Johnny Elmore. She is survived by sons, John (Johnna) Bellew of Culloden, Mike Bellew at home and Steve (Cathy) Bellew of Dawes; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Lonnie (Marianna) Elmore of Marysville, Ohio; and sister, Betty (Bevil) Holstine of Belle. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Fidler & Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with the Rev. Lorens Dunnett officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank HospiceCare and Hubbard Hospice House for their dedication and compassion during the last two weeks of Jenny's life. on December 31, 2009.²

"Jenny" Elmore, daughter of Lonnie Samuel "Buck" Elmore and Nora Day Nida, on November 1, 1947.^1,2,6 John "Junior" Bellew Jr. died on December 12, 1999 at East Bank, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 80.^3,5 He John "Junior" Bellew Jr., 80, of Dawes, Kanawha County, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, in Clark's Christian Personal Care Home. He was a retired miner from Valley Camp Coal Co. with 48 years of service, a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific, a Christian, and a former resident of Ward and Rand. Surviving: wife, Martha "Jennie" Bellew; sons, Johnny of Hurricane, Lonnie "Steve" of Dawes, Michael, at home; brother, Murl Bellew of Rapid City, S.D; half-sister, Shirley Young of Charlton Heights; half-brothers, Gaylord Sargent of Chelyan, Lloyd Sargent of Marmet; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fidler-Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with the Rev. Larry Dunnett officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. on December 14, 1999.³

     Her Social Security Number was 235-58-0478.² Eileen Jessie Ball Eileen "Jessie" Elmore-Coleman, 68, died at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Ga., on Sept. 12, 2007, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Ms. Coleman was born in Charleston, W.Va., on Aug. 5, 1939, to the late Charles and Jessie Ball. In 1957 she became the wife of Samuel M. Elmore who passed away in 1997. Before moving to Savannah, Ga., Jesse led a full life. She worked full time for over 35 years for the state of West Virginia, where she worked for many departments and finally retired from the Teachers Retirement Board as an information specialist and computer programmer. She was a college graduate from West Virginia State University. Her determination to succeed brought her through15 years of night school to obtain her associates degree in computer science at the ripe age of 50. She was a businesswoman. Armed with her belief that dreams do come true and her strong will to make things happen, she retired, left West Virginia, and moved to Florida and started a small business selling antiques in Ormond Beach. After retirement from her antique business, she left Florida and settled in Savannah, Ga. for the last seven years. While living in Savannah, Ga., she was a member of the First Assembly of God on Pennsylvania Avenue, Savannah. Jessie was compassionate, giving and loving. She will be missed, for she had a way to leave a happy positive impression on every one she touched in her life. Her children always thought their mother deserved much more than what this life has ever given her. The good Bible tells us there are rewards waiting for us in heaven; we believe our mom is receiving her rewards right now. "Mother, this is not good bye, keep blazing the trail until we see you again." We love you, and may God bless you and keep you. She was preceded in death by brothers Joe, Charles, Edward, Willard and Roy Ball and sisters, Linda Webb and Reba Kidd. Jessie is survived by one son, Shawn Elmore of Savannah, Ga; daughter, Sherry and husband, Paul Phillips, of Savannah, Ga; brother, Raymond and wife, Nancy Ball, of Corinth, Miss; and three grandchildren, Ashton, Shane and Kassaundra. A tribute to the life of Jessie will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Loudendale Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Burt Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Comer Cemetery.³ She was buried at Comer Cemetery, Loudendale, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.³ She was born on August 5, 1939 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,3 As of September 7, 1957,her married name was Elmore.¹ She married Samuel Matthew Elmore, son of Lonnie Samuel "Buck" Elmore and Nora Day Nida, on September 7, 1957 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,3 Eileen Jessie Ball and Samuel Matthew Elmore were divorced on June 8, 1976.⁴ Eileen Jessie Ball died on September 12, 2007 at Savannah, Chatham Co., Georgia, at age 68.^2,3
