     Jimmie Lewis Hines was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁶ She Jimmie Hines Ramsey, 88, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2012. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. She was retired from Double Envelope. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Luther E. Ramsey; mother and father, Lucille and Randolph Hines of Norton, Va., sister, Sarah Hines of Williamsburg, Va. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Nancy Sexton of Troutville; grandchildren, Kelly Tyler and husband, Kevin of Blue Ridge, Erik (Bubba) Sexton and wife, Stacey of Roanoke; great grandchildren, Amber McKenzie, Emma Tyler, Garrett and Ava Sexton; nephews, Randy Begley and wife, Cherri of Williamsburg, Va., Jimmy Begley and wife, Polly of Suffolk, Va; nieces, Sandy Yeager, Barbara Jennings; nephews, Tom, David, Bill and Richard Ramsey; special cousin, Jean Bourne and husband, Lewis of Daleville. The family would like to give special thanks to Jean, Jonathan and Beth for their loving care through Good Samaritan Hospice. He was born September 26, 1939 to Carl Begley and Sarah Hines in Norton, VA. He retired from the Newport News shipyard after 38 years and was a member of the Williamsburg Club where he golfed for 50 years with his friends, something he dearly loved. During retirement he loved spending time with his children and taking his great-grandchildren out to lunch once a week. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his loving wife Cherrie Begley; daughters, Kim Lawrence and Deborah Mast, her husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Bobby, Becky, her husband Robbie, Shelly, her husband Dustin; great-grandchildren, Madi, Logan, Ben and Ryan, along with countless friends. Visitation will be at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg, VA, on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 1-2 pm, followed by a graveside service by Rev.
