Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Ted Tawney officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, Charleston. on December 16, 2002.2

She is survived by her husband, Robert Smith of Wharton; daughters, Deborah Miller of Charleston and Martha Sigmon of Alum Creek; sons, Tyrell Miller of Ridgeview, Jorell Miller of Foster, Richard Pauley of Greenview and Joseph Pauley of Richmond, VA; stepchildren, Karen Zornes, Robert Smith and Judy Cook; 13 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Naomi Menninger of Charleston; brother, Claude Brown of Ironton; and sister, Joyce Fowler of Julian; and a host of friends and family. She was a member of Brown’s Branch Church, Gordon. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Phil Rowe and the Rev. David May officiating.
