Rohde was buried at Pine Bluffs Cemetery, Pine Bluffs, Laramie Co., Wyoming.1,2 She was born on December 18, 1930 at Cumro, Custer Co., Nebraska.1,2 As of January 17, 1951,her married name was Gordon.1 She married Mitchell Dean "Mike" Gordon, son of Thomas Charles Gordon and Dorothy Pauline Smith, on January 17, 1951 at Broken Bow, Custer Co., Nebraska.1 Virginia V. Rohde died on July 5, 2012 at Cheyenne, Laramie Co., Wyoming, at age 81.1,2 She Virginia Gordon, 81, a longtime resident of Pine Bluffs, Wyo., passed away peacefully at Life Care Center of Cheyenne, Wyo., July 5, 2012. She was born Dec. 18, 1930, in Cumro, a daughter to August and Gladys Rohde, the third of six children. She was baptized April 9, 1939. She attended schools in both Ansley and Broken Bow. Virginia married Mike Gordon Jan. 17, 1951, in Broken Bow. She worked at Pine Bluffs Community Center before her retirement. Virginia was a member of the United Methodist Church of Pine Bluffs. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, garage sales and most of all bingo with her friends. One of her joys was decorating her home for holidays especially, Christmas. Recently, as a resident at Life Care Center, Virginia became friends with residents, staff members and especially close to her roommate Bobbie. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Barbara Adams and husband Steve of Broken Bow, Sandy Ragsdale and husband Bubba; a son, James Gordon and wife, Kelly, all of Pine Bluffs; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Rohde of Kimball, and Fred Rohde and wife Louise of Ansley; and three sisters, Augusta Vincent and Clydia Mae Young of Lincoln, and Dorothy Polland of Valentine. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister and brothers-in-law, Katherine Rohde, Darreld Vincent, Ade Young, and Harley Polland; nephews, Flint and Matthew Rohde; and a daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Gordon. Graveside services were at the Pine Bluffs Cemetery in Pine Bluffs Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Pastor Dan DeBruyn officiated. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. on July 24, 2012.1

Born January 26, 1945, in Battle Creek, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Charles Benson Vest and Hazel May Warren Villeneuve Vest. Betsy graduated from Bramwell High School in 1963. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. For many years, Betsy was a caregiver for many families in our area who had loved ones recovering from illnesses and those who had not had long to live. Betsy also loved to sing for the Lord, the Lord blessed her with an angelic voice that she shared with many people throughout the years. She was a great cook and went beyond giving of herself to help other. She was a member of Shawnee Baptist Church near Kegley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Christian Love Monk and Infant twins. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Kenton D. Monk; four children Wendell Ryan Monk and wife Brenda, Charmain Lynnette Monk Roberts and fiancée Johnny Counts, Charissia Lynn Monk Fanning and husband Daniel, Weston Rush Monk and wife Melissa; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Athelene Ann Villeneuve, Joann Josephine Villeneuve, John Joseph Villeneuve Jr., Brenda Darlene Gibbs, Eunice Starlene Dickerson, Debra Adelia White; a host of Nieces and Nephews; and her special caregivers, Mona Hamden, Neva Blankenship and Larry and Linda Davis. Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. on September 10, 2014.1

He had along career in banking spanning more than 41 years with First Community Bank. He was a member of Shawnee Baptist Church near Kegley. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. K.D. loved to listen to Blue Grass & gospel music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betsy Charlene Vest Monk, along with a daughter Christian Love Monk and infant twins. Survivors include his four children; Wendell & Brenda Monk, Charmain & Johnny Counts, Charissia & Daniel Fanning, Weston & Melissa Monk, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Special friends Larry & Linda Davis and sincere appreciation to Amedisys Hospice for their loving care.
