She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Leonard Allen "Lenny" Boyd; son, Jason E. (Susan) Boyd of Charleston; sisters, Linda Raines of Elkview and Sandra Cobb of St. Albans; nieces, Melinda (Charles) Ferrell and Melissa (Jason) Hodge; nephews, Matthew (Candi) Cobb, Robby (Erin) Cobb and Daniel (Linnea) Cobb; and a host of other loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. Per Karen's wishes, she will be cremated, and a private family memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Danny Kinder officiating. on February 5, 2014.1
