     Ballard Calvin Hodges was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 He was born on June 12, 1960 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1,4 He died on April 9, 2012 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 51.1,4 He KEGLEY - Ballard Calvin Hodges, 51, of Clay Court, Kegley, passed away Monday morning, April 9, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital following a very short illness. Born June 12, 1960, in Princeton, Calvin was the son of the late Ballard F. Hodges and Eva Thelma Farmer Hodges. Calvin was a graduate of Spanishburg High School and was of the Christian faith. Calvin was well loved by everyone who knew him; he had a kind and gentle heart and always wore a smile upon his face. His family was always first in his life; he enjoyed traveling, raising his chickenS and shopping. Calvin was a devoted employee for Allen's Supermarket for many years, remaining with Grant's Supermarket until his death. We have truly lost a good person, but our lost is heavens gain. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his seven siblings, Delaney Grose, Patricia Romans and her fiancé, Charles Gibson, Donna and Earl Romans, Barry and Trish Hodges, Alvin Hodges, all of Kegley, Drema and Clinton Lewis of Rock, Jeffrey Keith and Kelli Hodges of Lexington, N.C; a special niece, Tasha Romans, and a host of nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 12, 2012 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Benny Buckner speaking. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on April 10, 2012.1
