He was a loving father and devoted husband. Born December 3, 1971, at Ft. Hood, Texas, he was the son of Gary Wayne Tincher of Gatewood and Linda Shepherd of Summersville. He was a heavy equipment operator in the coal industry. Jerry attended the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene, liked hiking in the New River Gorge area and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Billy and Ruby Shepherd; his paternal grandfather, Ray Tincher. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Rebekah Lea Smith Tincher; his children, Tayler Tincher, Brandon Tincher and Mackenzie Tincher all at home; two brothers, Gary Tincher and wife, Brenda, of Princeton, Roger Tincher of Gatewood; one sister, Angel Tyler and husband, Keith, Jr., of Shady Spring; paternal grandmother, Jency Tincher of Gatewood; mother-in-law, Beverly Sanger and husband, Gene, of Hilltop; sister-in-law, Barbara Humphrey and husband, Jim, of Oak Hill; uncle, Lee Ray Tincher of Pleasant View Road; and nine nieces and nephews; all of whom loved him very much. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014, at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Dr. Randy James officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chris Long, Brandon Tincher, Jim Humphrey, Gene Sanger, Gene Lusher, and Mike Shepherd. on October 5, 2014.1

     Logan Bradley Tincher was born on December 10, 1988 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 He died on April 29, 2009 at Fayette Co., West Virginia, at age 20.1 He Logan Bradley Tincher, 20, of Oak Hill died on Wednesday, April 29, of injuries received in an automobile accident on Route 19 South at Glen Jean. Born Dec. 10, 1988, in Beckley, he was the son of Angel Allen Robinson of Oak Hill and Roger Darin Tincher of Gatewood and stepson of Brian Robinson of Beauty Mountain. Logan was a talented musician. He taught guitar at ShowTime Music and enjoyed his band, Maiden China. Additional survivors include his grandparents, Aubrey and Sylvia Allen of Oak Hill, Tom and Judith Bolen of Oak Hill, Gary W. Tincher of Gatewood, Darla Brouillard of Manassas, Va., and Charles and Barbara Robinson of Hico; great-grandparents, Jency Tincher of Gatewood and Katherine Boardwine of Fayetteville; two half brothers, Clifford Robinson and Owen Robinson, both of Oak Hill; and half sister, Katie Beth Tincher of Bradley. Several loving aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him. Services will be 7 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. William Skeldon officiating. In accordance with his wishes, Logan will be cremated following the service. on May 1, 2009.1
