Curtis Ray Waddle was born on November 13, 1953 at Akron, Summit Co., Ohio.1,3,2 He married Iris Sue Toney, daughter of Charles Cecil Toney and Alice Leona Massie, on February 16, 1974 at Summit Co., Ohio.1 Curtis Ray Waddle died on August 14, 2015 at Ohio at age 61.3,2 He Curtis Ray Waddle, 61, died peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Friday, August 14, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Curt was born in Akron on November 13, 1953 to the late Otis and Alice Waddle, and was a lifelong area resident. He was baptized at Faith Family Church. Curt worked for Monsanto, and then AESExxon Mobil, as a Research Scientist Technician. While with AES, Curt invented an improvement to the adhesive properties of thermalplastic elastomers, an achievement for which he is listed on the patent. Retiring from Exxon in 2009, Curt went on to work for Veyance, until his diagnosis with cancer in 2014. Curtis was a musician. He loved sports, and even coached his grandson's Little League team. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Curt could always be counted on to make you laugh; his good-hearted nature and kind spirit could make a friend of anyone. In addition to his parents, Curt was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Bryant. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sue; children, Joshua Waddle, Jasen (Christine) Arrington, Joseph (Tammie) Arrington, and Balinda (Kenny) Genis; grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua Curtis, and Jonathan Waddle, Justin, Haley and Jaden Arrington, and Cecily Genis; siblings, Anita Randolph, Margie Kinney and Otis Waddle; and greatgrandchildren, Mia, Helaina and Hallie. on August 19, 2015.2

He is also survived by his mother, Sue Waddle; sister Balinda Genis (Ken); brothers, Jasen Arrington (Christine) and Joshua Waddle; nieces, Cecily Genis (Jenny), Jessica Waddle Clark (Nate) and Haley Arrington; nephews, Justin Arrington, Joshua Curtis Waddle and Jonathan Waddle, along with step daughter, Mika Cohen (Zach) and grandchildren, Leo and Cameron, plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will dearly miss him. Joseph is with his Savior Jesus; his father, Jack; his step father, Curtis; his grandmothers, Alice Toney and Alice Waddle, Granny Margaret and so many others who welcomed him home. We will see you again Our Beloved Joseph. on December 5, 2021.4
