Washington, Ky., and Helen Nicolaisen and husband, Al, of Ukiah, Calif; and treasured friend, Peggy Worley and husband, Frank. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 35 years and instrumental in establishing the church library. Prior to becoming ill, she was an avid reader and quilter. Dean and Bea cherished camping trips with dear family friends: the annual church trip to Philpott Lake in the 70s when they often arrived early, along with gospel singing events at Watermelon Park and The Smokies during the 80s and 90s. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church on 1527 Gilford Avenue at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Dale Mullinix officiating. on May 15, 2011.3

A funeral service to honor Verrena's life will then follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastors Mike Flinchum and Eric Evans officiating. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Deborah Williams, of Douglas, Ga., Donald Williams, of Roanoke, and Carl Williams, of Radford; two daughters and son-in-law, Diane Surber, of Christiansburg, and Tina and Chris Blackburn, of Radford; special daughter-in-law, Janey Williams, of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Shirley Giles, of Parrott; two sisters and brother-in-law, Gerlean and Donald Bruce, of Fairlawn, and Josephine Bruce, of Radford; 12 grandchildren Tammy Weirich, Ronnie, Brandy, Lori, Julie, Jaimee, Daniel and Cody Williams, Cyndi and Vicki Lytton, and Cole and Ben Blackburn; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Radford Worship Center with Dr. Hal Adams officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Radford Worship Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to either the Good Samaritan Hospice or the Radford Worship Center Outreach Ministries. The Graham family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory, in Radford. on February 17, 2008.1
