Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Friday, April 18, 2008, at Oakey's South Chapel with Russell Hall, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. on April 17, 2008.5

Also surviving are two brothers-in-law, Mace and Ruth Guilliams, and Geno Guilliams; a special nephew and his wife, Obrene and Dottie Guilliams; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. (Connie) Bechtold of Covington; two step-daughters, Joan Smith of Indianapolis and Janet Malson of Connersville; two grandchildren, Mark Bechtold (Kayla Hinkle) of Brownsburg, Sara (Jacob) Schleter of Michigan City; five step- grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren. Her parents; five brothers, Charlie Cabble, Archie Alfred, Lewis Landon, Clyde Carroll and James Jefferson Milliron; seven sisters, Onie Olive Maddox, Lottie Lura Anderson, Rosie Rebecca Ripley, Virginia Vestell Wimmer, Ida Irene Poff, Mary Margaret Stapleton and Lillian Loraine Milliron preceded her in death. Gladys was employed at Navy Pier, Norfolk, Va. in World War II and Indianapolis Power & Light. Merlin and Gladys moved to Covington in 1957 from Indianapolis. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Danville and helped at the Mouse House. Gladys was a homemaker, former Cub Scout Den Mother, and sewed chevrons on honor Jackets for Covington High School for several years. Her hobbies were: ceramics, painting, gardening, family reunions, and old fashioned music, especially Randy Travis and Bill Gaither.
