She loved quilting, choosing designs in her favorite colors red, white and blue. Politics were her passion and she was quite vocal about sharing her views, believing that it was most important, not that you shared her views, but that you voted. But most of all she was a devoted mother, a loving sister, a favorite aunt and a good and generous friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick H. Elliott, Jr. and sisters, Estelle Hunnicutt, Ruth Grasty and brothers, Albert Hunnicutt, Fred Hunnicutt and William Hunnicutt. She is survived by her son, Frederick H. Elliott, III and his wife, Janet; her sister, Virginia Cinnamond, of Cleveland, Ohio; and nieces and nephews, including Suzanne (Grasty) Russell, Clark Grasty, Thomas Hunnicutt, Robert Hunnicutt, Jeff Cinnamond, Jim Cinnamond, Joanne (Cinnamond) Pope and Jody Cinnamond; and several grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with funeral services on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 12 noon, Oakey's South Chapel, with the Rev. Carol Johnston officiating. Interment in Evergreen Burial Park. on June 8, 2008.2
