     Delores Dawn Lilly was born on January 1, 1937 at Flat Top, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^3,2 As of July 25, 1955,her married name was Furrow.¹ She married Warren Stephen Furrow, son of Stephen Allen "Steve" Furrow and Orpha Gaye Cooper, on July 25, 1955 at Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., Virginia.^1,4,2 Delores Dawn Lilly died on June 1, 2009 at Tampa, Hillsborough Co., Florida, at age 72.^2,3 She Deloris D. Furrow, age 72, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Flat Top, W.Va., died Monday, June 1, 2009, at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Fla., following a long illness. Born on Jan. 1, 1937, at Flat Top, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Gladys Lilly. Mrs. Furrow was a homemaker and had made her home in Florida for nearly 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren "Junior" Furrow, and by a sister, Linda Lilly. Surviving children: Steve Furrow and wife Vicki of Florida, Joey Furrow of Florida, Cheryl Whitlock and husband Paul of Virginia, Michelle Castellano and husband Cliff of Arizona, Sheila Furrow and companion Peter Lorenz of Florida, Brenda Raupp and companion Tony Crause of Virginia, John Furrow of Florida, Sharon Harty of Florida, Sandra Furrow of Florida; seven siblings, Joyce Goldie of Scott Depot, W.Va., Marilee Bennett and husband Perry of Flat Top, W.Va., Harold Lilly and wife Donna of Flat Top, W.Va., Robert Lilly and wife Peggy of Fairfax, Va., Sandra Hunt and husband Harold of Martinsburg, W.Va., Cathy Whitehead and husband Eugene of Chesterfield, Va., Jeannie Lilly of Flat Top, W.Va; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren also survive. She will be missed and is loved by all. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel with Rev. Jack Barber officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers. on June 4, 2009.²

     Edwin Mayhan Duncan was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.³ He was born on January 15, 1925 at Beaver, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^4,2,3 He married Mary M. Furrow, daughter of Stephen Allen "Steve" Furrow and Orpha Gaye Cooper, circa 1944.^1,3 Edwin Mayhan Duncan died on March 28, 2006 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 81.^4,3 He Edwin M. Duncan, 81, of 105 Bare Drive, Daniels, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. Born at Beaver on Jan. 15, 1925, he was the son of the late L. E. and Agnes Brash Duncan. Mr. Duncan was a retired employee of Ford Motor Co. in the Walton Hills division in Ohio with 30 years of service, retiring in 1985. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 32 in Beckley. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Furrow Duncan; four sisters, Jessie McMillion, Mary Frisk, Jean Warden and Margaret Morgan; and two brothers, James and Charles Duncan. Survivors include a son, Freddie Duncan of Mantua, Ohio; two grandchildren, Aaron and Eddie Lee Duncan; nine nieces, Belinda Marchland, Peggy Speaks, Jean Sharon Evans, Brenda Michelle, Nina, Cheryl, Sheila, and Sandy Furrow; eight nephews, Edwin Furrow Sr., David Furrow, John Frisk, David Warden, Charles Morgan, Steve Furrow, Joey Furrow, John Furrow; his best and closest friend, Frank Worrell, of Daniels; and good and loyal neighbors of Bare Drive and Lee Avenue in Daniels. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Shady Spring Chapel with Pastor Dennis Burks officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beckley. on March 30, 2006.³

     Beulah Edith Cole was buried at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹ She Bluefield - Mrs. Beulah Edith Gearheart, 72, of 925 Union St., Bluefield, died Friday, May 29, 1998 in a Bluefield hospital. Born September 7, 1925, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Cole, Sr. and Nannie Mae Snap Cole. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bluefield. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Gearheart; two sons, Harry and James Gearheart; a daughter, Phoebe Barne; two brothers, Willie and Everett Cole; and one sister, Lucy Mae Cole. Survivors include two sons, Henry S. Gearheart of Bluefield and Tommy Gearheart of Ronoke, VA; one daughter, Peggy Lapral and her husband Dalfort of Roanoke, VA; one brother, John Wesley Cole, Jr of Morgton, N.C; 26 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2pm from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel in Bluefield with Rev. Larry B. Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley.¹ She was born on September 7, 1925 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹ As of August 9, 1945,her married name was Gearheart.² She married Johnson Henry Gearheart, son of Andrew Ambrose Gearheart and Florence Mayle Woodward, on August 9, 1945 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2 Beulah Edith Cole died on May 29, 1998 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 72.¹

     James Henry Gearhart Sr. was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.² He married Vivian Christine Wheeler.⁶ James Henry Gearhart Sr. was born on February 14, 1923 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,4,5 He died on February 9, 1986 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 62.²
